The after market housing looked different but after getting new bolts that were a little shorter, it fit perfectly and the wiring harness was the correct length. Thanks guys

Product not as pictured
Pump for a 2000 Yamaha 40hp 2 stroke did not come as pictured and did not contain the necessary parts to install. Incorrect O-ring an no spacers...I would recommend finding/buying from a different source

Great replacement part for a lot less money
This fit great on my 1999 Yamaha 50HP 4 Stroke. I looked for a cheaper alternative because the Yamaha trim motor was listed over $300. I got this put in in 20 minutes without any trouble, and works great without any trouble.

Works Great
Installed on a 1999 Yamaha T50. Fit perfectly. Works great. Only problem was that it didn't come with an O-ring that it must have to seal right. Luckily the old one was still in good condition.

Fits and Works Perfectly
Fits my 1999 Yamaha F50 perfectly. Identical to the original part, it even fails every couple of years like the original part - this purchase was not my first. Cheaper and faster acquisition than ordering from the marina.

Trim & tilt motor was good but it was a 1/4" shorter then the manufacturers original part.
Fast delivery from Amazon. This is for a 1998 40hp yamaha 2 stroke trim and tilt motor...the new oring was to thin used the original one. The spacers were not delivered with the motor. Had to buy 12 metal spacers ( four washers on screw )After installing the motor it leaked. Removed theMotor and added some liquid sealant.All in all was easy to install and worked great. Would have given a five star if all the information and parts were delivered with the motor.

This did not fit the outboard motor it was ordered for. We used make, model and year.
