I have used a CE Ferulic product for decades and really like it. But the price of Skinceuticals has become so expensive. The comparison and testimonials of this product were excellent. I changed over and feel great about the results. Great price too.

I was looking for the other serum. Yes the one super expensive that my dermatologist recommended… but as I was surprised for the price of the other one, this alternative came in the Amazon’s suggestions. I read all the reviews, the ingredients ( the similarities!) and the suggestions for this product. So I decided to try this one. I have melasmas and dark spots caused by pregnancy and hormones. I have been treated with a chemical peeling for the last 2 months. Looking great so far ( it’s a process) and as part of the second phase of my dark spots treatment, my doctor recommended a 7 morning steps ( yes seven!!… 💸) and 8 night steps routine. This is one of the morning steps. After a white serum, this product ( antioxidant) should be applied before the day cream to “reduce appearance of wrinkles and defend against environmental damage”. So 4 drops do the entire face, dries super fast, no scent sensed, which is great…for the rest steps to continue. Always remember to use Sun protection after your moisturizer at least 3 times per day if you work with a computer indoors… every 2 or 3 hours if you work outside. So far the product is exactly what I was expecting, with the right price!!

I’ve been using this extremely expensive product for 3 weeks and have experienced the following: - My skin has become extremely itchy - My skin has become very dry - My skin has become red and irritated I now can’t use any other product due to the burn and can only use coconut oil. These are my observations after using the product. I will continue to monitor my skin and update if necessary. Never ever again. My first ever negative review on a skin care product. I started using this product about 4 weeks ago. I suddenly started getting styes, which I rarely get. I was using this product on my face and on my lower and upper eyelids (not too close to my eyelids). But, some of it must have gotten on my eyelids over the past 3.5 weeks and irritated and clogged the oil glands, etc., which caused sudden 2 styes over the past 3.5 weeks— a stye on my left eye lower lid and since last week, a major, sinister stye on my right eye’s upper lid. My O.D. yesterday (5/6/25) informed me it was a more complex stye, which caused severe swelling of my right eye’s upper lid. Even though I was making a conscious effort to not get the product near my eyelid, some of it still got to and irritated my lids, causing two eye infections the past about 4 weeks, with the recent one a worse stye infection than the first one that I had 3 weeks ago. I now understand the stye infections are because the ingredient(s) in those products caused irritation and ultimately an infection, which I rarely suffered from prior to using the product. The ingredients appear to work on the face, but my eyes and eyelids became very irritated by it to the point of infections.
