I bought this battery-operated train for my children to run around our Christmas tree, and we love it! For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It’s inexpensive but feels sturdy enough to withstand my toddlers’ distractions. The train runs smoothly, looks adorable, and adds such a charming touch to our tree. My kiddos are obsessed with it, and it really brings a little extra Christmas magic to our living room. The sound can be turned on or off, which is a nice option. We haven’t had any issues with the tracks or the train derailing, and it goes around at a good speed (as shown in the video). Just note that the batteries are not included. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a budget-friendly train that still delivers on fun and holiday charm!

Loved this set. While it fell off the track easily however once set up with no interference… it works.

Update: The seller was very responsive and sent a new train with instructions on operation. I would tell parents to be sure to put the train on the tracks and not your small child. When I did this, it worked better. I bought this present for my 3 year old for a Christmas Eve gift. We always open a small but fun present on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas. This one was so disappointing we had to open a different gift! 1. First the train itself did not really fit on the tracks. You could set it on the track but if you tried to move it, the tracks fell apart. 2. The battery compartment broke right away. Duct tape fixed it but on day 1? Yikes. 3. Even when not on the track, the train did not move smoothly. It really is best for decoration, not a toy. If I had some sort of display and needed a train this would work but for a kid...no way. Would not buy again.

it was not as big as i expected

I bought this electric train for my young son and he loved it. The colors are vibrant and the pieces are well-made. The train runs smoothly on the track and is easy to assemble. It includes several accessories that make playtime more entertaining. The size is perfect for small hands, and the materials feel durable enough for normal use. Plus, the sound and lights add an extra touch of fun without being annoying.

At first, this would not stay on the track. It started super fast and the train parts would come apart. The accessories are cheap and not really worth much (a few have already been broken). After a few attempts, I was able to get the train to stay together and on the track, plus get it to somehow not start so fast it jumped off the track (that’s literally what it did when I first bought it). After it just sat in my living room for about a week and a half, I decided to try it again before sending it back, and it magically stayed together and on the track. So, that’s why I’m giving it three stars. It’s not great, but it plays music and as long as it keeps staying on the track when turned on from now on, it will work for us (for this year, at least).

Great purchase for the price. It goes well under the christmas tree as long as its on a flat surface. I like the option of having the sound on or off. My kids, 6-10 yr olds, put toys in the train cars and its powerful enough to pull the characters around. I had a little problem with the engine working and the seller replied to my email quickly and solved the problem. Great customer service!
