Mens Satin Smoking Jacket Fully Lined

Has a great feel to it. Purchased as part of a theatrical costume, but I'll definitely be wearing this around the house once in a while :-D Nice quality construction... A few loose thread ends here and there to clean up, but no missed stitches that'll put any seams at risk. Much nicer than I expected.

Great fit, confortable, and does reduce the smoke smell on my other clothes. Member of a Cigar Club and a few us decided to stand out a bit to show off. Very happy I made this buy.

For its price point, this is a quality product. It fits to nicely to size and cuffs and stitch work are well done. Looks great, too!

I've never had a smoking jacket, but I occasional smoke a cigar and thought "I should have a way to protect my clothes from smoke". Honestly, that's the first time I realized what I smoking jacket is made to do :D Anyhoo... I got the Chinese Brocade both in Burgundy and Black. Nothing wrong with the black one (it's seems plain by comparison), but the burgundy one is really stunning. I got invited to a "black tie optional" event in a very casual town and wore this jacket with a black shirt and bowtie and got a crazy number of compliments... mostly from people who didn't dress up at all. (and no, I don't usually get compliments from strangers). It's been too cold to smoke a cigar in it, so I can't guarantee that it is fit for purpose, but I love it.

Jacket is made fairly well with shoulder pads inside so even though it is satin it does not droop & hang funny. Nice drape with good structure. Ordered for husband as part of a Halloween costume. A bit expensive for costume maybe, but I didn’t want cheap costume look & this is made nicely enough for other uses. Husband is 6’ / 240 lbs & normally a Large. I ordered the XL; based on pit to pit size info in description I went about 3” larger and I’m very glad I did, it fits well. Took 1 star off because the color is not at all “burgundy” it’s really a brown, so that’s a bit disappointing. But won’t return because this was the only jacquard option. Also the back appears it *could* possibly be sewn a little off- or maybe they just pressed it weird. There is a bulging of fabric as if it was improperly draped when hem was pinned/ sewn. I *think* I may be able correct just by pressing the back & changing how the hem was pressed- but won’t know for sure until I pull out my iron.

My partner once told me he wanted a sleek mens jacket almost as a joke when watching a movie. I decided I had to get him one. He wanted something nice but also cozy, something he could use for a costume but also at home. He LOVED this. It reminds him of the Hugh Hefner days. It's definitely worth the price point - the stitching and design is so clean, so professional, and he loves wearing it! Looks great on him and he loves relaxing it.

Sizing using Amazon recommendation is good. Well made. Long time to arrive but worth the wait.

Xl was too large and the colour seemed more bronze than burgundy Beautifully lined and rich feeling. I reordered the large blue/black smoking jacket.
