Totally Bamboo "Eco" Utensil, Flatware and Cutlery Drying Caddy for Totally Bamboo Eco Dish Drying Rack

I'm always skeptical of wood products online but took the plunge. Omg. So happy I did. I've read some reviews that made my knees knock, but I'm glad I went through with this purchase.The wood is SOLID, the grains match up, there was no excessive glue to be found anywhere. The drain holes are a bit tiny, nothing a file won't fix. Solid construction and much larger than I had anticipated (i'm waiting for the dish rack to arrive).I had previously used the "boxy" wood type, that tended to mildew and rust at the nails. I see no nails, only a few screws for the attach mechanism. This completely blows those boxy ones out of the water. It's stylish, functional, and worth every penny.I have one minor concern, but that cannot be addressed until I receive my eco bamboo dish rack - i'm a tad concerned the stain won't match, so i'm keeping this in it's original packaging until it arrives. After falling in love (really??) with this, it will be a shame if the stains do not match.Goodbye boxy holder, toothbrushes, & bleach - enjoy your retirement. I'm a happy girl!

As I was recently purchasing the Totally Bamboo Eco Dish Rack I also added the Totally Bamboo Eco Dish Rack Utensil Holder(item# B0054PSXC8 ) in my shopping basket but at the last minute removed it because I read Alexis Sudin's review. I am very picky and her review pointed out flaws that I knew I would/could not accept. I went on to purchase the utensil holder for the Totally Bamboo Dish Rack (not the Eco rack) but found that it would not fit the Eco dish rack. So I decided that I would take a chance and order the Eco utensil holder figuring that if it was indeed as bad as the review had stated I could always send it back.I received the utensil holder and I absolutely love it!!! The joints were glue free and every one fit sungly together. The utensil holder looked just as it does in the picture. I do not dispute the review by Alexis. In my experience in today's world quality control of merchandise is greatly lacking. It's a hit or miss kind of thing. My recommendation to anyone considering purchasing this item is to take the chance and if they get a poorly crafted one....send it back. If they get a good one, as I did, then enjoy it because it looks awesome hanging on the dish rack!!!

For my new dish drying setup. I did unscrew/remove the triangular wood piece on the back because I didn’t need it. It hold lots of silverware and cooking utensils without falling over. A puddle collect in the bottom so I stuck silicone bumpers on the front edge of the bottom so that it tilts back a bit which helps it drain. Attractive and functional.

Love this silverware holder. It’s made to stand alone or hang from your folding bamboo dish drainer. Works great and looks good!

Good quality

Looked good for a few weeks, but water quickly ruined this utensil holder, which is sold as being used for draining. It began to turn black on the inside and looked so gross after about three months, it went straight in the trash. Waste of money.

The utensil holder is nicely Made in China from beautiful bamboo. Well glued and joined. This fits the ECO Dish rack perfectly, but will work with the regular dish rack too, but not fit as snugly, just hangs on the top edge, still nice!The lister needs to add better photos - the back and bottom are not show currently.It can be taken apart for deep cleaning and re-waxing the surface to help maintain the wood when the surface need refinishing eventually.The bottom is solid, but there is a gap between the walls and bottom for water to drain - see pictures.Some of them are not glued well - avoid buying returned units from the Amazon Warehouse - both I bought there had opening seams where the front is attached to the back.The dish rack may or may not be made well - these mass produced items have some quirks, like some splitting, unglued joints, and mostly the bottom of one side of the dish rack is just a wood dowel (they of course don't show you on the listing page). This means that only medium size objects will fit on the bottom, and small items will fall through the gaps.Please be aware the listing photo does not show this is especially made for bamboo or wood folding dish racks, as show in the picture - these have a hanger in the back that fits them neatly onto the front of the dish rack. It is also free standing.If the price were less (I paid $36) and better quality, I would give the product 5 stars.

Perfect if you have a small washing space and need a rack that fold up for easy storage, and quick set up for when you need to use it.

A perfect match to the Bamboo Dish Rack I rated earlier. Bamboo is as beautiful as it is functional . It is beautifully made and will last forever, do note tho' that together they need a fair bit of counter space[24 in.]
