Happy with these, wish I knew about the max version.
Comfortable, battery is ok*, sound is ok stock (a lot better with iCue if you're on PC). The mic as far as I can tell and what friends have said, sounds good (you get a gain option through iCue). I can't totally recommend this for console due to the stock sound not being anything over the top. I can totally recommend these for PC user and have seen tons of PC players using these. Apparently, there is a Max version of this headset, wish I knew before I ordered, but it's all good. I'm happy with it regardless. I'm coming from Logitech. Not going to lie, I still love Logitech, but this headset has been an awesome alternative to a past favorite! *UPDATE after a month: I'm not sure if it's a fluke or I got lucky, but I am getting great battery life. I was editing photos the other night for about 5+hours. Listening to Spotify the entire time. Had iCue set on Bass Boost with my PC volume at about 30 (Spotify volume almost all the way up). I don't use any RGB..mainly because it isn't very extravagant. The battery lasted and the entire time with plenty of time to spare. For the first and second night I had the headset the battery life was alright. Roughly with the same use as I explain above, and it wouldn't last terribly long. Not sure what happened, but it last great now. Summing up: I think this is a great PC headset with the use of the iCue program. It has great sound and for me the battery last great! It is also very comfortable, and I wear glasses regularly. The mic from what i've experience is great as well! I would not recommend this for console players. I'm not saying don't buy, but my reasoning would be due to the stock audio not being anything over the top. (Though you can possibly improve your listening experience if your system allows you to mess with EQ) Hope this helped!

Favorite headset but the band hurts when used for long periods
Bluetooth connectivity is great I can walk to the outside of my room and still hear and chat. It has a 3d style sound and has very little outside noise leaks. The band is uncomfortable during long periods, the earmuffs are large enough to fit over my ears comfortably so my piercings don’t stab or bother me. Flip to mute is easy to use been told that the mic sounds good. Works great with my ps4 and pc.

Amazing
Previously I had Steel Series Arctis Pro and I loved them, until I tried these. These headphones are super comfortable, sound is amazing as well as mic, battery is nothing crazy, but good thing is that you can use headphones while you charge them which is a great feature. UPDATE: After 1 year having these updating review to 1 star! First of all, iCue software sucks, after the update more than 6 months ago, equalizer does not work anymore, you can apple pre made one or custom ones, sounds stays the same, super annoying! Second things, I am gentle with these headphones, but even despite that, they somehow broke! Not worth of money, do not buy these!

Best headset mic around, better than the max
Best sound quality and microphone quality out there within this budget. I just wish the head strap was a bit bigger, i have a sloghtly above average sized head and I have to wear it maxed out

Decent headset, small quality issues and functional issues.
Had it for less than a year now. I like it, but it seems to be having wear and tear more often. There is a lot of info that I was missing from the box and pamphlet, so going to reviews online was helpful. Reviews online often said that sound quality is an issue, it is if you don't use the software given to you. The software allows you to edit specifics for your preferences and it sounds much better. I have settings on it for specific genres of music and games. You can find YouTube's reviews with their preferences in sound settings that may give you a guideline. The mic is crisp and clear. I would say other issues for me are some of the functions. If you are not listening to something on the computer, your headset automatically turns off/disconnects from sound. Thus if you are using it for work with no sound, study, or whatever else, it may be a little bit of an ick. The headband that is touching your head is adjustable but it gets stretched easily. Mine has gotten so loose that while adjusting it, I have to stretch it more so that it sits more comfortably on my head. I don't think there are replacements for that and without the headband, the headset may feel more loose or off. As for the price, it's not bad, I believe I've got it on sale, so my opinions may differ if I had bought it at full price. If you are using it for general use and you are not an audiophile, I think the headset is a decent contender. Plus it I like the design of the headset.

Mostly good design but dragged down by software
I tested a 1/2 dozen well regarded headsets and this one was bought because the mic is good and the other features passable. If you care less about the mic I would recommend a turtle beach stealth 700/600 for batterly life+comfort or a steelseries nova for small size + comfort. Only get this if your ears are small enough and you care about the mic more than anything else but don't want a table mic. This headset is comfortable provided you're not wearing glasses with thick temples or have large ears. Otherwise the compression from the temples and on the top/bottom of the ears can be painful. I last about 6-8 hrs before it's too much. The floating headband and velcro adjustment is helpful (not as good as the steelseries nova) but the earcups are non-replaceable and small enough that people with large ears will definitely feel it. There is no hardware noise cancellation. Battery life is ~12-18 hrs, which is very low compared to competitors. (turtle beach consistently lasts 48 hrs) The mic is the best part of this device and the reason why I bought it. It's a little worse than the one found on their more expensive and even less comfortable cousin, The Virtuoso. It is NOT as good as a dedicated mic, maybe ~80% there where the virtuoso is ~90% as good. You get dolby atmos (3d sound) which is actually a great feature. You'll need to redo your equalizer settings if you turn it on in that app. The icue software is by far the worst part of the headset. Sound profiles are stored in software, not hardware, so you can't set it once and uninstall icue. icue is a size bloated but also poorly featured program by corsair to control their peripherals. For this headsest you can control voice prompts, the lights, a battery gauge, and a mediocre equalizer with profile saving. You'll need the equalizer as the default sound profile is painfully inaccurate. If you send your computer to sleep, your settings will reset but in software nothing will change. You'll have to untoggle and retoggle everything. If icue updates, chances are good the same will happen. Shut down your computer? flip a coin and get ready to redo settings. Modify the icue program? settings gone. All these features at the cost of 1/2 a GB of space. I'd guess most of the glowing reviews are simply unaware of other good competitive offerings. This headset has some good features but also clear downsides and potential problems in what I consider the most important part of a headset. Comfort. If you're thinking about buying this buy->try-> return a few well regarded headsets or try them out at your local hardware store. I'd recommend a nova pro/7 if comfort is your priority. Turtle beach stealth 700/600 max are a little less comfortable but the batteries last much longer. Hardware profiles too! Logitech G735 has blu yeti's software that fixes their bad mic. If you want wired HyperX cloud orbit is great except for the mic which is just decent. Once again only buy this if the mic on a gaming headset is your primary concern and you don't want to buy a table mic. There are otherwise more comfortable, longer lasting headsets that don't use icue.

Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless Multiplatform Gaming Headset
The battery last kinda short for long use. But the quality is pretty good

Good quality
Updating my review because I got the battery to last longer. You have to download iCue on your computer (the software for the headset), and turn off the lights on the headset, or dim them. Now the battery lasts more than one work day. The headset is light weight and comfortable, and I think the mic quality is very good

10/10 would recommend
Bought this a year ago to replace an old headset that couldn't seem to work. I've had no issues with these. They work well, sound is great, my voice comes through great, and they're comfortable. I've gotten a lot of use out of them and would definitely recommend. My only thing is I wish the ability to mute yourself was a button and not just pushing the mic up, but it's not a big deal.

great headset, bit on the small side
the head cushion / elastic band thing is interesting looking and i like the design, but i think it's just less comfortable than a normal pad would have been. good audio and mic quality though, easy connection, good range, but kinda uncomfortable if you have a big head
