Top of the line leak sealer
I have used this same leak sealer several times over the years. What I have found is that this runs a tight 1st place with the "top of the line" leak sealers on the market. If you know how to properly install this, it is easy to use and the application is simple. It can save professionals a lot of money that can be transferred in lower invoicing for long-term clients, leading to retaining clients at a fair price. It is not a "cure all", meaning it works as designed but will not seal large leaks beyond design so if the leak persists after application then the fault is too large and will need mechanical replacement of lines or parts. As an aside, I have never once experienced clogging of any cap tubes when using this product but have had good success in saving my clients large amounts of money in times of uncertainty. Hence the reason why I prefer this brand. Thumbs up!!! and 5 stars!!!

Great temporary solution
Im not gonna lie, I hate putting sealer in any HVAC system. With that being said, this stuff is the best band aid for an older system, if you just need to get through for a little while. It's not a permanent fix, but it will allow your system to work till you can get or pay for a permanent fix. I've tried several different kinds of sealant, and this one seems to hold up the best.

Inexpensive self help repair
Did the job perfectly, and was simple to use. Very cost effective for sealing leaks, and saved me about $1200.00 in parts and labor it would have cost me to have a HVAC company to make the repairs, although to use it, you do need some basic knowledge and skills, along with some necessary tools, equipment, and supplies. As far as durability, only time will tell the story on that, but it has been several days now, and my system is still functioning as it should and there have been no issues to this point. Extremely pleased with results so far. Very highly recommended product.

Not an easy install, take your time and study the instructions and procedures.
The good news is that the leak sealer appears to have worked for my home AC system that was losing refrigerant slowly. The bad news is that this is NOT a simple process. I consider myself fairly handy, I have renovated bathrooms, I have tackled plumbing and electrical projects, I have done numerous carpentry projects, but I have never worked with HVAC systems before. Despite the instructions seeming simple and straightforward, I still managed to screw up and sucked some air into our AC system. If you are using manifold gauges and hoses for the first time, do yourself a favor and watch as many youtube videos as you can. Follow the instructions EXACTLY, TO THE LETTER, and DO NOT DEVIATE from the steps or the order they are in.

Fixed a leak I couldn't find
Fixed a leak on a mini split that had previously left it freezing up after a couple weeks, this product has been going strong for a few months now. Instructions were easy to follow and had multiple options, I chose to use a tank of refrigerant to push it into the system.

Not reliable, the applicator tubes leak.
Iโm a Florida State licensed CAC contractor. These leak repair dye packs are junk! I got them for spares and just took one out of the package and the dye pack has leaked into the foil packaging and itโs to late to return.

Impressive Stuff! (Review updated for 1 year update)
Iโve had a small leak thatโs been getting worse over the past couple of years. Started as having to top off every season, then last year it got to where I was starting to lose 1-2lbs every 2 months. This year I decided to buy my own refrigerant and put this leak stop stuff in back in the beginning of April knowing that AC season was upon us. All Iโve got to say is WOW! I havenโt lost any refrigerant since I added this stuff and itโs now the end of September. It got me through the whole summer! Now Iโll be interested to see if the system loses any of its charge when itโs not being used over the winter, which is whatโs unfortunately happened over the past 3 winters. Hopefully this time thereโll be no freeze ups when I turn it on next springโฆ we shall see! **April 16, 2026 update**- Itโs now been a year. So far weโve had 10 days of 80โF+ with 3 of those days being over 90โF, including today, and the AC hasnโt struggled at all. Intermittent flashing noises near the indoor unit did return on the first run of the season about 3 weeks ago, but it only happens every 30 seconds or so. That tells me that it likely lost a few ounces of refrigerant while it wasnโt running over the winter, but itโs not made any impact on its ability to cool and is much better than the usual 2-3lbs of refrigerant it wouldโve lost over the winter in years past. Performance is still the same as it was right after I added this stuff along with 3lbs of refrigerant last April. Delta T is averaging 16โF-18โF and cooling cycles are 10-20 minutes. It also still manages to cool the house down 3โF in less than an hour when my thermostat switches the temperature to sleep mode at night. Iโm very pleased with how well this product worked and that I seemingly no longer have to deal with a frozen system on the first hot day of the year.

Wow...it works! Even on high side leaks!!! Read!
Ok please read my back story. I'm a handy guy, I can fix almost anything. There are only two mechanical things I am not experienced in. 1) Automotive transmissions and...2) Home HVAC. I know the basic principle of home HVAC but never had the tools to work on it or guidance to teach me. Anyway, I have a house on the water, ocean access water in the Ft Lauderdale area. The AC on my home is a 20 year old 4 ton Rheem unit, R22 and exposed to salty humid air. It cools fantastic but over the years there have been a few leaks on the U tubes on the condenser coil (the outside unit, high side) and I had a long time AC guy that has welded the leaks and got me going. This last time a couple weeks ago the AC guy basically told me "my AC is shot I need an entire new system and he can't and won't attempt another repair, the cost of a new system is $8,000". Well I don't have $8,000 so he basically told me "good luck" and left. That's when I started researching these leak stop shots. My long time AC guy said my R22 system was empty and I believed him because the AC was cooling one day, then the next day freezing up then the next day barely blowing cold, the next day the low pressure switch was shutting the compressor down. Ok so I did my research. I bought two of these Leak Saver injections and a 15 pound can of R22....which was incredibly expensive, but cheaper than a new system. So i hooked the can of R22 to the leak savers and shot them in followed by a nice charge of R22. It's been about 2 weeks and the AC has never worked better! Also my AC guy said my system was empty, it's a 4 ton and holds about 11 pounds of R22 and it took 7 pounds to fill so I have plenty of extra 22 and an extra leak saver for the future just in case. People, this Leak Saver WORKS! My 4 ton R22 split system was leaking out at a rate that would have left it empty in a week, it's been 2 weeks and it's blowing cold! Plus I am putting the gauges on every few days to monitor pressure, it is stable! I am amazed this Leak Saver worked. Blown away actually. I gave this stuff about a 5% chance of working on a 4 ton high side leak. Give this a shot before spending thousands. Your biggest expense will be buying R22 but it is available online.
