Works great, gives out tons of info, besides temp inside and out, day of week, time of day, date, humidity, forecast. Doesn’t leave anything out that I would want. Lights are bright colors, can read in the dark. We debated in getting the one with just the temps and so glad we got this one, for all the info it does give.great value for the money, sturdy and right size, does not take up too much space, but just enough to get us all the info.work well with connections, came right on, no lack of timing.

Arrived in perfect condition. Set up and operation were described very well and it works like a charm. Shows current and min/max indoor/outdoor temps, humidities. Larger numbers for easy viewing. Also shows date, day of week, and time.

I compared it to the acurite color weather station. The acurite was nice but the text was too thin and was difficult to see from any distance. It also had a colored background which looks cool, but I think it actually makes it harder to see the text on the screen. This one has a black background with large bold text. I can easily read from 15 feet away. The viewing angle is very good too but it will wash out if you get too far to either side. It will also start to wash out more and more the higher it is above your eyesight. I can see mine at eyesight as long as I have the thing straight up and down. The second you start to angle it back, it becomes increasingly washed out. It basically has to be at or below eyesight and vertical. The screen is big enough so you can see it from just about anywhere in a large room, except for maybe the day/date. It might've helped to make the day/date white instead of orange (or whatever color it is). The indoor temperature reading is about 1° higher than two other thermostats I have in the house, which is within spec. The humidity seems to be right on. All in all, I think it's a good value for the price.

We previously had a similar setup, something that hung on the wall and had a sensor outside. The old one was fine, but I developed a need for indoor/outdoor temperature indication in my detached garage, so I moved the old one out there and bought this to replace it. The old one was hung on the wall, near the door. It was nice, worked great, but was very plain and not easy to see from a distance. The idea of this was awesome! Full color display with weather indications and alerts. I had read some reviews that mentioned the need for being plugged, but wrote them off because the description clearly states battery operated. Now, yes, it does work on batteries.....but it won't stay on. You have to hit the button, which then lights up the screen for 5-10 seconds, then it goes blank again. SUPER ANNOYING at first. I considered sending it back, but my wife and I tried to commit. We hate wires hanging down walls, so the old spot by the door was a hard pass. We tried placing it in different spots (plugged in) and had a hard time finding the RIGHT spot. Then, we stumbled across the kitchen. Our counters have a vertical ledge in the back that goes up the wall about 4 inches. And there is about 1/4 in gap between the ledge and the wall. We mounted the display under the cabinets, plugged it into a nearby receptacle, then tucked the wire behind the counter. And BOOM, heaven. With the perfect placement, we absolutely love this thing! The display brightness can be adjusted, but we have ours on full bright and it looks great. At at glance, you can see the temps outside and forecasted weather. And the display itself looks nice, the colors are pleasing, and the overall appearance is spot on. For the reviews that state it's not accurate....well, when is weather guessing ever accurate. Weather is crazy, always will be. We plugged ours in, gave it a day or two, then started really looking at it. And we've found it to be pretty spot on. Some people say the temperature is off by a few degrees. Well, spoiler alert, the temp that pops up on your weather app for your area is a general temp for that area. It is every possible for your exact location to be warmer or colder by a few degrees, which we have noticed with ours. After about a week of using it, the outside portion of the display was just a bunch of dashes. We went to bed, and the next morning it was fine. Even better, I had checked the weather for the week, straight suns across the board. Thinking nothing more of it, I continued about my business. Later in the week, the display showed clouds and snow. At this point, it was a beautiful sunny day, 50 degrees. My wife and I joked about the display being wrong....until a few hours later some clouds rolled in and snow started falling! I jumped on my weather app to confirm....and it was still showing suns across the board. Bottom line, this thing is great for situational awareness, as long as you can find a place to keep it plugged in that won't look dumb.

Needs an American to Uk plug adapter But a quality product

I purchased this weather station over 3 years ago and so far it has been working really well. The temperature and humidity seems fairly accurate for both indoors and outdoors. I have the outdoor sensor under cover on the edge of an open roofed shed about 50 ft away and I haven't had to even change the batteries yet which is pretty amazing. The setup was reasonably simple and after a power outage it seems to reset itself and start working again as soon as the power comes back on. Over all I'm very happy with it.

Although this is an old model it still stands out on its own. Beautiful bold display. Not very bright though and little difficult to read if it is not approximately at your eye level. But I am loving it. Accurate sensors. Simple no frills setup and it does what is supposed to do very well - read temperature, humidity, air pressure and forecast the short term weather! The trend arrows and weather improving / worsening indicator arrows are super useful as well! I have hung it near my key holder so that I can read the weather before stepping out of the house everytime. It definitely adds a charm to my living room.

... you will need to address the Power Supply issue as mentioned in many other reviews. Unfortunately these devices only come supplied with a 110V mini Plug Pack, they are not designed to run from 240V even with a basic travel adaptor. Fortunately however they only need 5V which is the same voltage a USB port can produce so as per my pics all you need is to purchase an inexpensive USB to 3.5x1.35mm DC cable, connect it to an old USB Charger/Plugpack (or any USB port) and you're done! As seen in the photo, I'm using a USB Powerbank purely to demonstrate how easy this is to achieve but of course I'm using a small USB plugpack in its permanent location. Note: the right-angle plug on the cable I bought off eBay (item: 154527783652) is a bit larger than the original so although it fits and works perfectly it isn't as neat & tidy as it could be.
