Durable Strong Upgrade
The balusters are extremely durable, ordered a bit longer for just in case. Minimal amount of cutting to fit. Our other staircase was a bit unsteady but these new one are durable, look expensive but the value of these were great. Installation was easy , paying close attention to being level. Used liquid nail to secure to upper and lower rail. Very sturdy. The boots on the upper and lower added higher quality finish. There were some problems with screw set but only certain ones that had been painted over, ( in cellophane pack ) which resulted in stripping though if you have a metric tap & die the problem can be resolved. The boots in the ziplock bag had no issues. We are completing the remodel so disregard the tape. Last picture is of previous stairs.

You will not regret this purchase
Affordable and the detail of these are beautiful, these are stain resistance and holds up the matte finish nicely. Added railing, purchase these b. shoes and it turned out beautiful.

Well made but low cost
Redid my entire staircase at a fraction of the cost. Very simple if you follow instructions or a solid YouTube video. Took a 10-20k job and did it entirely for under $700.

What They Do, What Ya Need
What they are supposed to is give the balusters a "Clean" look and finish. Especially when it's DIY-ed. BUT what the "set screw" does is cause a gap. Make it look BUSTED. What ya need is After everything is put in place. You've filled the little scew marks. The stain is dry. Ya Spouse says "everything is level" . You use metal clear to place them firmly into place.

Used as part of the stairway baluster system. Worked well, looks good.

Great except for 1 thing
I like them and they are quality but I don't like the little circle you can see where you tighten them. I probably would have gone with the push in place ones if I realized how much I wouldn't like it so I'm just teaching myself to ignore it. Aside from that they're great!

No screws
Unfortunately there were no screws included in the sets. I purchased 2 sets so have to find 60 screws that fit perfectly, hopefully in black. Would be 5 stars otherwise

Angle
These sit perfect until you tighten the Allan screw. When tightened it sits angled creating a gap, because the pressure of the little screw on only one side throws it off. I decided to silicone them to keep them in the right angle and not tighten the Allan screw.
