However, coming to the actual fragrance notes, this is definitely not Oud. I purchased this perfume after reading many positive reviews because I wanted an affordable option for daily use. I own several expensive Oud fragrances, so I was looking for something casual that I could throw in my gym bag or carry around without worrying about losing or damaging it. Unfortunately, it does not smell anything like Oud. It leans heavily towards a sandalwood or incense stick scent profile. In fact, I literally have an incense stick at home that smells identical to this perfume. While it certainly has a woody character, calling it Oud is misleading. It should have been named something else. It works okay as a general woody fragrance for casual wear, but if you are looking for true Oud, this is not it.
