Nylon coating wiring is awesome. This makes every retractable badge holder useless. I am excited to see how long this will last. I’m have a cleaning company and I will be buying multiple passes for myself and employee. I wish there was multiple colors.

This badge holder lasted me almost exactly 3 years of security use and abuse, between the whole reel getting popped off my belt, getting caught on stuff and constant use for door entry, likely 100 doors a day. It finally broke the cable, right at the connection to the badge holder. 10/10 would recommend, and I’m ordering another immediately. Ordered April 25 2023, finally broke April 14 2026.

Sturdy well built for decent price

I’ve only been using it for a few weeks now, but it seems durable. I don’t have a lot of keys on the ring, but the retractability seems like it would handle quite a few more on it. I have just my ID in the holder, and it holds it securely. I have had it unhook from my belt on a few occasions, but it seems secure the majority of time. So far, it seems worth the expense.

Held up for over a year.

The only “slide clip” (or whatever I’m trying to say) that I’ve had where my id doesn’t just fall off. Great product and I think it’s a pretty reasonable price

I like this because it's a metal material and feels more solid than some of the smaller ones you can get. I like that my ID card will be okay in this solid protective case. Unfortunately, not as sturdy as it looks. As I was pulling something out of my pocket, the ID holder came unclipped from my pants. When it hit the ground (less than 36 inches) the clip broke off. The clip itself is made of metal, but the piece that holds the clip on is plastic. So when it hit the small plastic pieces broke off and the clip would not reattach. With everything still intact and how much I like this product, I gorilla glued the clip back into place and Im sure it will keep it for quite a while. Again, great product looks manly and cool. But would really redesign the clip holder. (Possibly add a D-ring option.)

This is my second time buying this product and I cannot recommend it enough. Whenever my coworkers talk about card holders this is what I point them to. Only reason I had to replace it, albeit 3 years of extremely hard use later, was because I’d damaged the metal ‘string’ after the first year, again I was VERY rough with this ID holder. And finally after years more of rough use, catching on things, being pulled to its end it finally snapped. It even showed up 10 days earlier than the estimated delivery date! You cannot go wrong with this product and I can’t recommend it highly enough. This is perfect for my needs. I work as a bar supervisor and this has been an absolute saviour. The cord is metal making it much more durable as well as the durability of the rest of it. So happy with this it’s already taken a good beating and it’s in perfect condition still. If you need a rough and tough ID holder this is what you want. Couldn’t recommend this more highly it’s fantastic

Great and durable, no issues with badge holder, but unfortunately over time the retractable cable is slightly bent and gets stuck so the badge holder dangles lower.

Works great, but after a few months of use, the braided wire snapped
