Can I use this for outside

i tried.. under a covered gazebo. they lasted about a week outside. I wouldn't use them outside if i were to purchase them again

does it have a breathing mode, so it constantly changes color?

The strips have 4 modes that involve the changing of color, with additional modes you can program yourself. There are 2 fade modes, one fades between 3 colors and the other fades between 7 colors. Aditionaly there are 2 jump modes where the sreip jumps between either 3 or 7 colors depending on the mode it is set on. Both the brightness and speed with which these modes change color can also be adjusted.

I already bought the 10m set with everything included. If I buy this will they connect and use one remote or will they be two separate systems?

Going to be honest it should mine does, I have two 16.4ft sets, but only 1 brain and 1 remote and 1 power source!!

If I want to buy 4 reels and connect them together, do I need to buy a stronger power source to make that many strips work?

Yes, you need to buy a 12V 10A or more power supply and one amplifier between each two reels.
