Color & Frame - In the Garden (Adult Coloring Book) Review: Frustration-free coloring: realism not needed, all you do is color! - I’m new to the world of adult coloring books and I have four of them. ‘Home Sweet Home’ by Creative Haven (the picture is on one side and the pages are perforated) was my first book and at the beginning I was a very enthusiastic colorist, but my interest waned as my coloring skills are very amateurish so the pictures I colored also look very amateurish. I used Prismacolor Scholar coloring pencils. Then I purchased ‘In the Garden Color & Frame’ (the print is on one side of the page and is also perforated, but the perforation goes through the edge of the picture) together with ‘The World’s Best Mandala Coloring Book’ (the print is on one side but the pages are not perforated). I continued using Prismacolor Scholar coloring pencils but I decided to buy and use alcohol markers and metallic markers. The latest book I purchased is ‘A Million Sloths’ by Lulu Mayo. The print is on both sides of the page and the pages are not perforated. The pictures are cartoonish and so cute. Perfect for my coloring skills, but I won’t be able to use alcohol markers in the book otherwise the ink will go through the page and ruin the picture on the other side. My two favorite books are ‘In the Garden Color & Frame’ and ‘The World’s Best Mandala Coloring Book’ because the prints are on one side of the page; the books will fire your imagination and test your color combination skills, and not your ability to produce realistic pictures (which I can’t produce anyway). Also I really enjoy using a combination of alcohol markers, metallic markers, and coloring pencils all on the same picture. To protect the next print place a piece of card or poster board underneath the page you are coloring. I also purchased a Canson Mix Media sketch book to practice coloring and drawing techniques using coloring pencils and alcohol makers by following free online tutorials. If I had to choose one book as my favorite it would be ‘In the Garden Color & Frame’, because I will not be skipping any of the pictures. ‘The World’s Best Mandala Coloring Book’ has some pictures where the patterns are too intricate for me and at the moment I am skipping those prints. However, I’m thinking I might use a ruler and divide up the picture and color the divided sections with solid color (alcohol markers are great at coloring large sections), and then use coloring pencils and metallic markers to add detail. In the end ‘In the Garden Color & Frame’ does not have any frustration-inducing prints for me to color or irritate me. Review: High Quality Relaxing Adult Coloring Book - I bought this during Covid while I was looking for activities to do at home and it did not disappoint! There are over 30 pages to color, so it lasts a while. The paper is high quality and the designs are beautiful. The notebook itself is also durable, not a flimsy one that easily falls apart so you can take it with you outside, to the beach, etc. without having to worry. Very easy to use, just color! This is perfect since it is not too intricate to the point it is frustrating, but is also definitely for adults and too advanced for a child. Very relaxing! I've used a few other adult coloring books as well and this is by far my favorite. Highly recommend!

Excellent value, great paper
Nice pictures, not overly detailed for a more casual coloring fun, but not child-like either. Some of the best paper out there for colored pencils and and good spiral binding to make the experience easier. The perforations are great if you like to remove pages. The price point is lower than most and the overall quality is better. I usually prefer more detailed drawings, but these are good for pure relaxation and sometimes the artwork inspires me to add some of my own for intricacy. I have a few books from the series and, in my opinion, IN THE GARDEN has the best artwork.

FANTASTIC! Just ONE problem‼️
Xlnt service; followed instructions to the letter. — An EXCELLENT Adult Coloring Book!! Paper thick and no bleeding through the pages; WONDERFUL detail and design for EVERY SINGLE PAGE! 🐊My ONLY criticism/‘Caviat Emptor it's that pages need to be slightly offset to the Right. Designs tend to be a bit frustrating whenever any given pages are NOT copied with proper attention to the details lost. ESPECIALLY considering this is a problem for nearly EVERY ‘bound’ book: (Which are costly) designs need only to be better centered, especially considering the additional expense for being “bound” to lay fully flat! Furthermore, this is a serious problem whenever one desires to have the work framed, when finished‼️ The solution might be to perforate every single Page, thus suitable for framing.

Beautiful
This coloring book is high quality. The pages are very smooth and are great for alcohol markers. I especially like the variety of prints. Some are simple while others more complex. The spiral binding allows for the book to lay completely flat and pages are perforated. Ideal for framing. Highly recommend. A+++

Nice Compact Coloring Book with Clear & Enjoyable Designs
This adult coloring book is a decent choice for anyone looking to unwind. At the time of my purchase, this item was $7 US. The pictures have a good balance- not overly basic, but not so intricate that they become frustrating to color. The designs are clean and clear, making them enjoyable to fill in. The book itself is on the smaller side, both in dimensions and thickness, which makes it portable and convenient for travel or casual use. While it’s not a thick book, the quality of the images makes up for the quantity. I would repurchase.

If you're actually thinking of framing the end result, be aware...
If you are just getting this to do some relaxing coloring, then you might rate this a little higher. But the pricing reflects that this is designed to let you pull the pages out to display, and the book's spiral binding means that if it isn't handled carefully, you will receive a copy (as I have) that is bent and creased. Still ok for coloring, but you will have to work around the dents and bends to keep you color from being drawn into them and emphasizing the mishandled pages. I'd suggest considering other options if you are looking for something you can keep or display.
