I bought the 4 cup Stasher Bowl as a followup to two snack size Stashers I bought on Prime Day. I just love these products and they are helping me to reduce the waste of so much plastic every day. All you need to do is get one in your hands to realize these are a great design meant to last ... which means that although they are a bit more expensive, you will have them for years. They are thick, with extremely solid and strong zip seals. In my testing, I never experienced leaks. I use Stasher bags for all kinds of things from food/snacks to small electronics I can throw in my purse or in my backpack/overnighter for travel. I'm also always thinking about emergencies and because these bags are silicone and can withstand heat up to 425 degrees F, they're also a good addition to your go-bags. Not only can you store things in them safely, in a tight situation, you can use them to boil water, store it, or gather other items you want to protect. When the cities fall, your friends will be amazed that you can prepare sous-vide delights while trying to survive! Great company. Fantastic products in a variety of sizes. Get some!

I bought this because I’ve seen others use it for their breast pumps using the fridge method and it fits my momcozy m5 pumps perfectly!! Keeps it sealed and clean in a bag by itself in the fridge, hated wasting ziplock bags and this was the perfect solution. Also easy to clean!

A little more expensive but worth it. Easy to open/close and clean due to the sturdy yet flexible structure.

I purchased a couple of these 1/2 gallon Stasher silicone bags to try out after realizing my waste output and wanting to go a little greener. I eat sausages that come in a non-resealable bag, so I always rotate out plastic bags in the fridge. The Stasher bag wasn't exactly a joy to clean (I was all of our dishes by hand), but it wasn't overly difficult to wash. I don't know the best way to dry them out though, because you want them to stay open and air-dry, but they don't stay open on their own. They need some sort of stand, so I put them over a glass. You could use a towel, but that just leaves lint in the bag which isn't good for the other bag that I'm "stashing" almonds in. The sausage package fit inside the bag snugly, and I was able to seal the bag by pressing the silicone together. It doesn't have a ziplock bag zipper feel to it, so it is harder to tell if it is actually closed. Also, the silicone is flexible, but it wants to bounce back to its shape, unlike plastic bags. This means when you go to "burp" it, or squeeze all of the air out of it to make the food inside last longer, it's nearly impossible for one person to get all of the air out of it and seal it. I can fold a plastic bag and get all of the air out very easily, but with these Stasher bags, it's much more difficult. That's not a deal-breaker for me because I eat the foods daily and wash them every week, but if you were going to store something more prone to going stale when exposed to air for a longer period of time, like chips or cracker, then I can see the burp factor being a problem. I will continue to use them just because I can wash and reuse them without them breaking down or tearing easily like my plastic bags did, but there is still room for improvement. 3.5/5 stars

I noticed a couple of other reviews talking about how they came in plastic bags. I noticed upon receiving my stasher bags that they came in all different types of packaging. Paper, plastic, or none at all. My advice, you can obviously recycle the paper, and the plastic wrap you can recycle at your local grocery store, but hopefully it's not a deal breaker, because with these bags you'll never have to use zip locks again! I've been using stasher for a while now and these are my first larger sized bags. I've noticed they're not very fun to clean by hand, but in the dishwasher they do great and you can wash them on either the top or bottom rack. They can also be microwaved or put in the oven which is super convenient for me. I used up my zip lock bags before I switched to these and now I no longer have to feel guilty every time I stick yet another ziplock into recycling where I'm not even sure they'll be turned into a new bag. They don't get damaged easily, or at least not that I've noticed, and all around they're a great product, in my opinion. Each order comes with one bag. They're a bit pricey, but worth the price if you use these a lot, but, like others, I suggest you wait for sales to buy or buy them locally. My whole foods sells them, for example. They do come dusty, so give them a wash when they arrive before you use them, and when you wash them make sure you dry them thoroughly so moisture doesn't get trapped in them.

Stasher silicone reusable storage bags are the best on the market in my opinion. They are great quality, good design sizes. Excellent. Any kind of food whether it's meats, produce, breads etc. Whatever it is that I have put into these stash of silicone bags has come out like you just bought it. They are a little pricey but I feel because of their quality and how fresh the food stays they are worth the little bit of extra money. The seal is perfect. I have not had any issues with it. They say you can put them in the dishwasher. However, I do not want to put them in the dishwasher. I always wash them by hand and I have a huge glass that I put them over to dry on works very good. Would recommend this product to anyone trying to get rid of all the plastic bags.

This 8-cup Stasher bowl has earned a permanent spot in my kitchen. The clear silicone makes leftovers easy to spot, and the lid truly doesn’t leak — I’ve packed soups and marinades without worry. It goes from freezer to microwave to dishwasher with no cracking or staining. Sturdy but flexible enough to pop food out easily. A great way to cut back on single-use plastic. Highly recommend.
