Worked great.
Whoever wrote the review about using pipe foam to seal the edges you are absolutely correct. I bought 1/2 pipe foam from Menards and it sealed the edges perfectly. Also was able to use the 5.9 hose connector that came with the pelonies air conditioner. Just had to drill one small hole. Thanks for recommending it.

It fits my sliding glass door.
I can only use my portable A/C unit (Midea MPF14CR81-E / 14K BTU / 8400 BTU SACC ) with my sliding glass door. This kit did NOT accommodate 6" exhaust hose my unit came with but luckily my unit came with a smaller window kit. The pieces were interchangeable so I was able to substitute the panel with the opening that came with my unit. I had to drill a hole in it to fit the screws in but it worked out fine. The hardest part is getting trying to eliminate the gaps between the door frame and the door / door panels. My door doesn't hang perfectly straight and with so many panels there it doesn't really stay flat. I used a ton of foam tape and even that didn't work. I ended up using some of that clear silicone tape (that is used to hang pictures on walls with out adhesive or nails) to seal the gaps between the panels and the door and the panels and the jam. Seals strong and worked well. Putting the panels together wasn't too hard, just getting it installed took some time due to the gaps. Overall, it was worth the money to be able to run my A/C efficiently. The pieces are very sturdy and not flimsy. I am leaving it attached to my door and unsealing the jam part so I can open the door and go on my deck when necessary. The silicone tape is a little tricky to work but you can use hair dryer or heat tool to make it more pliable.

It works as advertised and it’s good quality
We’ve had eight portable air conditioners. So, we are very familiar with the installation process. This time we wanted to use our sliding glass door instead of a window in the living room. This works for us with no problem. However, you can only have the air duct exit at the bottom of the door/adapter. Another words, you cannot have the air duct exit at the same level as the air conditioner hose. It would be more efficient if the vent did not have to go down to reach the exit hole at the bottom. The design and quality are much better than any we’ve ever had that were provided with the unit at the time of purchase, including the very expensive units. They only provide one extra bolt and wingnut, and that was barely enough because one of them was defective and another one was less than perfect but we were able to use it. The other thing you should consider is once you install. The stick on insulation strips, you would have to cut them to take it apart so it would be better to leave it put together when you’re not using it. Also sliding apart. The individual pieces was very difficult. Even my husband had a really hard time. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend the adapter kit and I think it’s a very good and fair price.

Ok by itself. Great if with simple mods.
The vent kit by itself is ok. If you are willing to modify it, then it is great. Mods I did are below pros and cons. *I also almost never open the sliding door it’s in as I have 2 that go to the balcony so I don’t know how it fares with a door that is used often.* Pros: Decent for the price. Easy to assemble and insert. Neutral: Bolts are visible as there are multiple panels. Cons: It’s not super stable due to the way it’s designed with the bolts in the middle, so the panels wiggle/shift making it difficult to keep straight. It’s not very deep so it doesn’t really fit in the door frame. *Specific to me: wasn’t able to sit flat along the door track due to a bar that runs along the bottom for the screen door.* Mods I did to make it work: 1) 3 Everbilt 1-inch rubber self-seal pipe insulations put over all the edges EXCEPT for the bottom. (I couldn’t due to the bar in the bottom of my door track.) Depending on the height and width of your door frame you may need more than 3 and/or a different size pipe (I probably could have done a 3/4-inch.) I also chose not to peel the sticky tape off which will allow for easier disassembling as I move often. 2) I cut the bottom side edges to allow it to sit over the bar that runs along my door track. If you don’t have a bar then you may want to put the rubber pipe insulation along the bottom to help stabilize it. Just out of the box it was ok but it did allow light and air in as it didn’t create a good seal. After the mods, this door vent has worked amazing for me. If I had to buy again I probably would as it is a decent price and assembles really easy, and when unassembled it is super easy to move with.

Perfect fit for our large patio door!!
We bought the 90". Adapts to.our portable HVAC perfectly and fits well with our very tall patio door! We are in Central Florida. During storm outtages we can run our portable 14,000 BTU off of the generator. You seal it with foam tape and ot works great!!

NOT FOR SLIDING DOORS!!!!
NOT FOR SLIDING DOORS! I bought this because it advertises being made for sliding glass doors but it most certainly is not. After hours of trying to get it to fit nothing about it fit in the sliding glass door. The picture you see is the best I could get it in there. There is nothing special about my sliding door. It’s pretty basic. The bottom doesn’t fit and neither does the sides as you can see. Piece of junk and the company falsely advertises. Requested a refund.

Keeps Our Whole Room Cool
I couldn’t be happier with this air conditioner! It’s a total game-changer, especially during those scorching summer days. The cooling power is phenomenal—my entire room reaches the perfect temperature in no time, and it stays consistently cool. I love how quiet it runs, too—I can relax or sleep without any annoying hum. Installation was straightforward, and the remote control is super convenient for adjusting settings from across the room. Overall, this AC unit has exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommend!

very neat and tidy air con door seal
I rarely leave reviews on Amazon but feel I must as this is a brilliant piece of kit and extremely high value for money. The kit fits my patio sliding doors perfectly and was easy to put together using the supplied plastic pieces which slot into each other. the wing nuts tighten up the pieces. the whole thing together used up all 6 pieces as you can see in my photos. the hose connector fits easily.. 150mm diameter. there were some small gaps which I have filled in with a strip of rubber... see my photos. obviously this does not come supplied but you can buy a roll of door strip for peanuts on amazon. overall, I'm delighted as this works much better than the flexible bags that the other windows require.
