Comfort at last, for hours at a time!
I needed a better fit to be able to spend training time on the turbo. Its bad enough sitting in the garage for hours without being in pain or numb. I had tried different saddles, not the really expensive ones admittedly, then I saw reviews for this. Just make sure you measure your 'sit' bones and order according to their website.Once fitted I found that from the off it felt significantly different. It took a couple of attempts to get it positioned just right. Initially my sit bones were a bit sore, presumably 'cos I have not been resting my weight properly on them for years. 6 weeks in I have almost eliminated the numbness that I used to get and my sit bones have got used to the saddle too.It comes with 3 inserts that you choose from dependant on your weight. I swapped out the medium one for the softest and could tell the difference.I am that pleased with it that I am probably going to get another one which will go on my road bike.If like me you struggle to get comfortable and suffer frequent numbness I would recommend this saddle.

So you really can be comfortable in the saddle?
I heard on a video that you can be comfortable in the saddle on a road bike. After watching a video from a professional bike fitter he recommended this saddle. After getting the right size and following the instructions for setup, I was impressed. Still some discomfort but nowhere near the levels of past saddles. After spending some time on the bike trainer I decided to adjust it again today. All I can say is WOW. I never felt the slightest bit of discomfort. Granted it was only a 20mi ride but I cannot say enough about how comfortable this saddle is. The key in my opinion is to get the right height, angle, distance from the handlebars, and lastly but extremely important, ergonomic adjustments to the handlebars & brake levers for your body.

ooooh my my...
I went down the rabbit hole of saddle selection. Maybe it's necessary for everyone to do this. I was suffering and knew my choice of saddle wasn't going to magically morph itself into a comfy and efficient solution. I had a friend suggest SQlab so I gave a look, then a point and click. On the road it took a few adjustments to get dialed in. But once I got the height correct, I muttered oooohhh my my, that is really nice. Never said that before! After a few more rides the saddle has disappeared. My numbness in the nethers has vanished, the position gives a great platform for climbing and hard seated efforts. It's wider at the nose than anything I have ridden, that has been the only adaptation I really needed to make. It's a well thought out and executed saddle for spirited and long distance road riding. I am not sure about how this would work for a more upright position, like a commuter or touring. The sit bones rest against the step, not on top. This makes sense for a more crouched position. SQlab makes saddles for those disciplines, however.

Very comfortable
This saddle is fantastic. Once you measure your seat bones, add a couple of cm for an upright, comfortable ride and select the correct width, say goodbye to the pain in the butt that comes with using the wrong saddle. Also, one of the very few saddles with adjustable "give" through 3 different types of flexible inserts depending on your weight. German engineering at its finest. Well worth the extra cost.

Don't make my mistake!
I bought this saddle with high expectations... initially the saddle worked fairly well, it was comfortable and i thought i had a good product...however after only a month of riding local xc trails i noticed a creaking sound..after further inspection i discovered both of the rails had cracked! This is clearly a design flaw, created by the side to side movement the 'active' feature allows. The worst part is i tried contacting SQ labs several times and have been completely ignored by there customer service department.. so if i can say one thing its dont buy this saddle its poorly constructed and not supported by the manufacturer.

Also...
