Palladio Herbal Matte Lipstick, Creamy and Full Coverage Long Lasting Matte Lipstick, Magnificent Magenta

Probably the best matte I've ever used! Goes on smooth, does not pull at the lips, or skip across. Has decent staying power. Really lovely color, that's a nudes for me. Will buy again.

This is the first time I tried these products! SO glad I found them!! For an herbal, vegan, more natural line you can't beat the price. Nice variety of colors available! Since I'm about to turn 65, I've been looking awhile for a lighter pink similar to one from another company, with more natural ingredients. Wanted to go for the "less is more" look for a more natural look now that I'm older. LOVE the color lipstick and liner, goes on nice and smooth and seems to last quite a while through drinking and eating. The price is fabulous! Product came nicely packaged and in good condition. I bought the Bella Pink Lipstick, Tickle Me Pink lip liner and the I'm Blushing 2 in 1 Lip and Cheek Tint in Sweetheart!. LOVE all three products and colors! Lip pencil exactly the right shade of pink I wanted that complements the Bella Pink and the 2 in 1 Tint color, texture and application were great! All the products were very smooth to apply, with nice amount of color. All products arrived in perfect condition! I know some had issues with their condition on arrival but in 80 degree summer weather sitting in my mail box several hours they were perfect. In hotter temps perhaps not! Highly recommend this company's products!!

Does what I read about on the description

I had been buying this product for years now. My last purchase of this I could see the color looked different. It also had a different feel to it on my lips putting it on. Then the color looked differently on my lips. Then it wore differently. I requested an exchange hoping it was just a bad batch--it wasn't. So the website kept the same name for it but changed the formula completely. It did not have a matte finish nor was it a true burgundy anymore, but instead had a pink tint to it. Super disappointed.

I should have listened to other reviews and just gone to Sally Beauty or bought from a specific beauty retailer/brand website that would have packaged this lipstick correctly because the bullet fell right out of the tube onto the floor. (I should have opened it over a clean paper plate and could have tried to repair it.) I ended up returning it through Whole Foods and the process was easy, for what it's worth. I had been really excited to try Palladio lipsticks and was scoping out swatches for weeks. It seems like a very lovely product and great value but buy it somewhere it won't get knocked around too hard or melt. You will probably still have issues with your lipstick bullet bending from pressure. The shade "Royal Rum" is a purple mauve shade and has a sweet vanilla frosting type scent, but I sadly cannot report on how it wears on the lips. The packaging itself is really sturdy and high quality for such an inexpensive price. I hope to find my way back to this lipstick eventually but am buying more easily accessible and reliable brands in the meantime. (Recently acquired L'Oreal's "Matte Me in Paris" and it's actually pretty similar to this.)
