Akari Noguchi Rice Paper Lamp • Dimmable Japanese Paper Lantern Lamp • Japanese Decor Lantern • Cozy Japandi Style • Paper Lantern Light

This lamp is so unique and beautiful, but also incredibly delicate (like, you could easily and accidentally poke your fingers right through the paper of the lamp). You have to be very careful to not break that paper, especially when setting the paper shade onto the base. Speaking of setting it up, I found the instructions to be absolutely useless and very unhelpful -- that being said, it's not difficult to figure out how to set this thing up; you just have a look at all the bits for a minute and your brain will figure it out rather quick. Super easy setup, and miniature tools are provided in the box to assist in the setup process. The bulb that came with the lamp will cycle through three different colours each off/on you do with the switch, but the colours are varying shades of blue/white light--which I didn't like; it made things look too sterile and white (like a hospital, ick). So, I bought a 40watt e26 base vintage amber coloured led bulb to replace it ... and having a warm toned light bulb truly makes this lamp shine! It also brings a lot of warmth to the room, as well as life. It's also a very calming lamp to look at when you sit and stare off into oblivion after a long and defeating workday. Now, I do think it's rather expensive for what you get ... but ask me if I regret this purchase? Not at all. I am in love with this lamp. The lamp is a piece of art, and I hope it will last me for many years to come. Definitely recommend 🙂🤞

Very cute made my room looks cozy easy to install. I’m very happy with my purchase.

The price of this is outrageous for the quality! The legs are plastic, thin and not sturdy. The rice paper is bright white and the bulb that comes with it is also cool white. There is nothing aesthetically pleasing about this lamp whatsoever. Skip it!

watch the vid tutorial and everything should be very easy. the light bulb that came with it was too bright for my liking so i switched it out and it look perfect. the lamp was a bit smaller than i expected but it still a good size. i love it!!!

Very very fragile lamp you have to be careful when putting this lamp together or you could put a hole in it. The lamp is really cute, but I don’t feel like it’s a good quality though. It’s sad because I love the color and the size but if you’re trying to have it for every day use, I definitely do not recommend because you’re gonna put a hole through the rice paper easily.

This is a great little Lamp. My 16 year old grandson put it together in about ten minutes. It is sturdy for what it is. Do not expect it to last ten years: the rice paper will eventually disintegrate. My last one disintegrated and it cost three times more. This is a great lamp. You will not be sorry about purchasing it. Looks just like the photo. Be sure to measure so you see how tall it will be in your space.

I'm really enjoying this table lamp, a good dupe to the Noguchi Akari 1A table style. It was easy to assemble but if it's your first paper lamp do go slow and gently pull the shade down over the base to secure.. They include an LED bulb so once it's put together you're all set! You can search around for different warmths to your liking while using the lamp meantime. I love that it's dimmable and use it in the living room to help me wind down from the day, keeping it on low. The warm, low glow is very soft and soothing. A really nice style choice, grab one!

Beautiful lamp. Very easy to assemble. However, my order did not come with a remote. Caution upon purchasing.
