Perfection! DJ using this to add reinforcement sound
As a DJ I was looking for a solution to an issue I faced at a local venue. I throw theme parties monthly and they wanted me playing on the first floor and a VIP Lounge on the third floor. They wanted sound to be played from a sound system on the 3rd floor which that matched what I was playing on the 1st floor. My main concerns were 1) Distance/cutting out 2) Latency 3) Sound quality of signal Distance: I can attest that I had no issue getting the signal from a Sub-Out on my mixer (a duplicate stream of audio that matches exactly what is playing over the main mix) to the transmitter and received flawlessly on the receiver upstairs. I ran a 1/4 in stereo cable to RCA audio on the YMOO wireless audio system. I did not use the cables that came with the system, I had my own. The connection was rock solid and I was assured it never disconnected, dropped, or stuttered throughout the entire 5 hour event. Latency: Even though the separate system was on a different floor I was concerned with latency for those that left the 3rd floor and walked to the 1st or vice versa and would hear a possible delay between the two songs playing. I can confirm there was next to no delay. The latency time is most definitely very very low and I have used this in a separate event where I have the additional sound system in the same room as reinforcement and it works flawlessly. I hope this continues! Sound Quality: For any sound nerds out there, I sent the signal from my Tascam Model 12 mixer to the YMOO and then the secondary sound system was an Evolve 50m speaker. I was afraid it may be tinny or thin sounding and lose some of the low end, but after testing the sound quality is even better than I expected. I tested with the same song I generally test my subwoofer on my main rig with and it sounded perfect. I cannot recommend this enough. I was looking at a system that was over $700 and gave this a shot hoping it would be good enough, and it was better than I could ask for. I would gladly have paid double what I paid for this device. Do not hesitate, this one is solid.

Good product
Works well I am using it for my surround speakers as I didn’t want to run visible cables to the back of the room There is a very small lag. I can hear it. Tried to compensate it on the receiver! Working well after almost three years!! Good solution to ditch the speaker cables

Still working fine several years later.
Sounds quality is fine, this has been working for several years more days than not to play music to from my garage to a pair of self powered speakers in my shed 30' away. Never any issues. The transmitter stays in garage which is heated. Shed is not conditioned or insulated, temp ranges from 5*-110* and they have held up for years.

NOT FOR PASSIVE SPEAKERS
Item arrived correctly & is easy to set up. However, it is not made for passive speakers. When playing, there is a constant 90% static and no matter how high you turn up the volume-the speakers, they won’t get louder. Bad range-2 of my speakers were within 30feet of the transmitter, direct line of sight, and the signal was broken up.

Updated,
worked great for a month or two, packed it away for the winter, got it back out, no longer connects/pairs, just stays blinking red/blue . I placed the Tx & Rx units directly next to each other, nothing. no pairing. the instructions offer no solutions to address this. Update: I managed to get through to the company and they sent a replacement free of charge. The signal is definitely subject to interference, and gets crunchy sometimes, but as far as the price goes, it's a really decent option. If you're really bothered with occasional glitches, just go the extra mile and hardwire. This device is plenty capable of getting music outside for parties, etc.

works very well at great distance
Our outdoor area is fairly large and we have have 4 speakers spread across the patio and pool area that are driven by a stereo in our den. under the covered patio we have a TV mounted on a swivel that can be turned to face the pool. Since the TV is a cheapo for outdoor use the internal speaker is not very loud. We use a fire stick with the DirecTV app to access our DVR and normal broadcasting. To get the sound to all the speakers we have the transmitter plugged into the headphone jack on the TV and receiver plugged into the CD input on the stereo receiver in our Den. The signal must pass through a brick wall as well a sheetrock wall. The total distance is about 70 feet. The sound quality is good with no noticeable latency for TV watching WE do notice a clicking sound when using the PLEX app to connect back to my PC (Upstairs) for playing music videos but this could be app rather than the transceivers . All in all very impressed with it's primary purpose of letting us watch sports outside.

Works as advertised, mostly, and probably for most applications.
Does what it says, though the fidelity is not perfect. I thought this might be a good solution for me to get decent audio from point A to B around my house. It does exactly that, with no range issues for the 100' I was needing... But, after listening to the original audio and then listening through the radio unit, there is a big difference. I doubt you could hear the different for any TV application, but I was attempting high-resolution playback on a really good audio system and it seemed as if there was some kind of frequency rolloff up high - estimating 12kHz and above? I was able to AB the audio source direct and then through the RF system to clearly hear the difference in quality. The difference might also be explained by the CODEC choice made in the design or maybe even the ADC / DAC pair used in the design. Regardless of the actual cause, the bandwidth seemed too low to transport audiophile-quality audio. I think that for extending audio from your TV to remote speakers or extending casual listen audio around your house, this might be perfect. Latency seemed very low. For really high-quality (audiophile quality) audio to a very high-resolution system, this isn't it. I wanted to love it, but I ended up using a long cable.

This is one of the best gadgets I have bought. It takes the sound from my wall mounted TV and transmits it to my HiFi amp in a cupboard across the room. No wires between them. No lag, excellent sound quality. I tried a bluetooth device first, but it had too much lag. The YMOO is perfect and comes with a really neat set of cables and chargers too.
