This thing is awesome!!!! Highly highly recommend. My dad is a psycho when it comes to his soda being the coldest it can possibly be without actually being frozen. Before dinner, he puts his soda in the freezer (after already being in the refrigerator) for like 15 minutes and there’s been times he’s forgotten he’s left one in there and it’s exploded all over our freezer. Well not anymore! This thing is awesome . I tried it with a mini can of Dr Pepper and at first it would spin for a second and then the can wouldn’t spin but I realized there was ice where the spinner was so I cleared that out and counted to 60 , opened the can you right away - no explosion- and it was like it had been in the fridge for hours. I got this for my dad for his birthday and I am SO excited for him to open it! He’s a very impatient person so the fact that his soda will get cold in 60seconds is AMAZING. The material feels a little cheap but it works perfectly ! Never would have thought of this idea. If your on the fence on buying it, buy it! It won’t disappoint!!! UPDATE: (a few months after buying it and writing the above review ^^) I still agree with what I wrote about the product BUT apparently it is not made very well because it was only used about 3-4 times max before it stopped working out of no where for no reason? We thought the batteries were dead in it so we changed the batteries multiple times, in multiple ways & it just wouldn’t work. It sucks!!!! I got this as a gift for my dad and we were both so excited for him to be able to use it because he really would benefit from it & he only was able to use it like twice. Ugh so angry I can’t get a replacement 😩😡

Well...I had low expectations just looking at it when I opened the package. But holy smokes, it works! The quick spin with a handful of ice, no fizz when you open the can, and it is ice cold. Great product!

i paid 24 bucks for this thing just to try it out. thought it was too good to be true and it is. good idea but poorly executed in a comical sense. i've seen "As seen on TV" products with better quality. you'd do better to just get something that is just slightly bigger than a 12oz can of soda, put the can of soda in the container first then put ice all around it. let it sit for about 3 mins. your soda will be nice and cold. you don't need 2 AA batteries, hear some loud thing that hardly works right (more on this later) and doesn't leak. you get the thing it is in 3 parts. the container which is ok i guess. has a slit in it to accommodate the suction cup that is supposed to turn the can around and around with a loud motor. the problem with that is the suction cup is not powerful enough to keep a grip onto the can so it slips or slips off you have to hold it on no matter if you wet the cup or not. kinda annoying. just letting the can sit there with the ice in does a better job. so with that, just get a container that you can put a can of soda in it put ice around the can and be done with it. save yourself 20-24 bucks.

A gift to someone else. As expected, it was kind of cheap and plasticky. But it worked pretty well! It's going to use up a lot of batteries.

5 Stars for some very important reasons: 1. Find ANYTHING that will chill your room-temp can of soda as quickly and simply. 2. It is $20. 3. Because this little gem can bring about refreshment, joy, and relaxation THAT MUCH QUICKER AND EASIER THAN ANYTHING ELSE ON EARTH, it could be the means of end to all wars, famine, corruption, etc... In all seriousness, it works. It works in less than two minutes, and not just cold, but chilled to probably a temp lower than your fridge. Is it perfect? Nope. Sometimes the suction cup fails. Sometimes, if the ice is not in the tray correctly, it fails. Sometimes, the motor doesn't want to work. But, IT IS $20! THE REST OF THE TIME YOU CAN TAKE A 95° SODA AND CHILL IT IN LESS THAN TWO MINUTES. SO, for all of you who just want to complain and denigrate, if we find an island for all of you, will you go? Congratulations and cheers to the brilliant mind behind this little gem.

I originally had a 'Cooper Cooler' that was awesome, until it broke after a few years. Went to replace it but changed my mind at a price tag of $80. Decided to give 'Chill-o-matic' a chance as it was more reasonable of a price. Battery powered give you options when traveling outside of the home. The unit does as described and brings a can of room temperature liquid to an enjoyable cold level. however the way the unit chills the can, you have to remove the ice before chilling another can, which can be problematic and/or wasteful. The suction cub lost its hold a couple times, but it was fairly easy to push it back on without taking the can out. If you have lots of cash go for the Cooper Cooler, but if on a budget and need portability the chill-o-matic is an OK choice.

I purchased this on May 2022 and it IS STILL WORKING TO THIS DAY. Still chills our drinks in seconds, and still spins. I will admit in the beginning we had to figure out how not to over load it and make the suction work better, but once you figure that out it will not disappoint. Yall mine gets used a minimum of twice a week and it’s still alive and well. 10/10 one of the best Amazon purchases I have made. When you use it the ice turns to water so you have to learn how to keep from spilling out. Our product has lasted 4 years, and 2 half country moves so it is durable. Also don’t keep the motor in the freezer. The motor stay in our coffee cabinet and the box with ice, lives in our freezer.

Let's be honest, this is a novelty purchase. If you are buying this, you should not expect it to work perfectly or forever. What you should expect though, is that if you use it right, it will work. And it does. I was very skeptical. In fact, the first time my boyfriend used it, I was holding my breath, expecting that the beverage either wouldn't cool at all, or would warm up quickly as soon as it was exposed to room temperature. It admittedly took a few tries to get the can to stick. You have to have the right amount of ice. Too much and the device will lock up. But if you can get it to spin, it really does work as well as having your beverage in the refrigerator for an hour. And all that in just 60 seconds! I was impressed. Clearly, this isn't something we'll use frequently, but it's definitely something we know we can pull out in a pinch to quickly cool our beverages. Cans only, by the way. And only the size of a regular soda.

I use the Chill-O-Matic when I don't have any cans of soda in the fridge. I put ice on the bottom and top of the can and run it for 3.5 mins. The can comes out ice cold (as cold as straight from the fridge). This is a great little gadget to have around!

what a load of crap put brand new bats in it and can dosent even spin tryed everything then by the time ya do get it coneted without it stuck to can the motor works but as soon as ya ya connect it to a can it just dosent spin and the ice had all melted defo sending this back and getting full refund
