This is amazing for catch and release. I’ve caught three birds and and put these tags on them now if I ever see the birds in the wild, I know which ones they are. These are perfect also for pet finches and small birds. I also use these on my pet finches and they fit perfectly.

I had to identify my canaries, but the birds were already too big. To use the kit that comes with it, I used a set of pliers to open the band a little more and adjusted it to a funnel to make the hole bigger. This way, the birds’ foot could go in, and I rolled the band onto their leg. Worked perfectly!

I like the box it came in and the different color rings. However, it took me a minute to figure it out and I had to go on YouTube for the instructions. Did the company not think that might be important? By the way what are the clear long tunes for? I only give it 4 Stars!

These leg bands are pretty amazing. I've tried every single 3mm bird leg band on Amazon and a few other big sites. This is my favorite so far. It's much easier to attach to a birds leg, compared to some of the other methods. The only thing I don't know yet is whether the numbers will rub off. That has been a problem with other elastic leg bands. The number will rub off pretty fast, as soon as 4 weeks some times. We'll see. But so far so good.

Is not for Diamond Doves, it is too small for them. I wait 5 minutes and the bird leg was swollen. And they tiny, but is for smaller birds.

Worked great on my house sparrows! I was really worried about using them since I’ve never tagged a bird before but as long as you’re gentle it works out great! I was able to tag all three, Hermes (yellow), Zephyr (red), and Poppy (purple) within an hour (the cage they’re in is temporary until they can fly)

This is a great little bit of kit. I have problems with my hands so when it comes to ringing my birds i normally struggle but this really does make the process much easier. Also handy for those who haven’t put rings on before or haven’t had much experience doing it.

Wasn’t able to use them, by the time I got them my baby finches were able to fly and refused to let me put them on. Also would have appreciated more clear instructions especially since there’s clear tubes that I have no idea what I’m supposed to do with. I’m sure these bands would have worked out well but unfortunately they didn’t for me.

Can’t get them on waste of money
