G-Shock Casio Analog-Digital Tough Solar Connected Black Watch | GAB2100-1A

Bought this as a gift. As far as I know, the recipient likes this watch a lot. I liked it too, but didn't wear it. I just got it out and charged it in the sun for a few days. Felt sturdy and tough in my hand, as expected from a G-Shock. Would by for myself if I didn't have so many watches already.

Had this for a week and very impressed. Bluetooth connects perfectly to my Iphone, solar charging keeps it powered without issues, and the build quality is excellent as expected from G-Shock. Surprisingly comfortable for daily wear despite the rugged design. The black look is clean and versatile. Highly recommend!

I am a mechanic watch guy, but I have a love for watches in general. This watch was purchased for hard use situations, and it is typically worn on the water. It lives in a dark drawer and when I remove it the hands spring to life and automatically adjust to the correct time, I love that. I also really like the phone connectivity, which saves me from having to stumble with the buttons and ensures accuracy. I don't wear it very often. So, the fact that it hibernates while not in use is great as far as it's life span is concerned. The solar charging is also a great feature. Overall, just a real slick watch.

I've had this watch for eight months and it's great in every way -- accurate, feature-rich, good looking enough to wear in business settings, rugged. Also, I like its moderate size. A major attraction for me is its five alarms and countdown timer, without which I'd be out of a job and estranged from family and friends for missing meetings and social obligations. I have only one complaint, something I regard as an inexplicable shortcoming: the countdown timer has a maximum start time of 59 minutes. If I have only one appointment on a given day then I'd prefer the quicker process of setting the countdown timer rather than an alarm. Other analog-digital Casios that cost less have 12- or 24-hour countdowns, why not the GAB2100-1A?

Great watch, heavy duty and ease of use. The light is nice and bright at night and time keeping or time retention is perfect due to the phone connection. Definitely great value watch and the custom upgrades are endless if you want to make Casioak. Only think what need work is the app Casio has. That think is like one big commercial and the phone battery drain is BAD. I will be using the watch without the app till better version gets released.

I wore the 1A1 (blacked out) version for about a week and found the display was too hard to read in my most common light conditions. (I'm 59 y/o, so my eye's aren't what they used to be; I use 1.50 cheaters for almost everything.) While the hands of the 1A1 were barely legible, the negative LCD was impossible to read except in the brightest light. It's a fine evening wear watch, but not for just day to day use. In contrast, this watch (the 1A) has a positive display LCD (light background, dark letters/numbers) is small but very easy to read (with glasses), the hands are easy to see at just a glance, as is the mode indicator. Even with it's larger body, this watch is light and comfortable, replacing my Timex Katmai. I do highly recommend this watch.

I bought it out of curiosity, but it's become my main watch. It's very light, well-balanced on the wrist, solar-powered, and connects to my phone via Bluetooth. I can't ask for more from a watch.

I have a 6.75" wrist and fits well. It really is a beautiful time piece. Authentic and a great seller.

Really like this watch. Have had it for a few months now. It looks and works great. Like that it is not a smart watch to receive notifications but that it is blue tooth to adjust the features and time with the app. Have used the find my phone feature a few times and it works well. Get one!

Love it. This wears a little larger than other casio's. So it doesn't look as small on big wrists.
