Magmaus PDE50 Heavy Duty Waterproof Padlock with 3 Keys.

Having searched for a while a good strong durable rust free padlock for my side gate, this particular one ticked all the boxes having read the reviews. I bought a cheaper one that I thought was just right but didn't stay locked and wasn't rust free! Took the plunge recently & paid a little bit more for the perfect padlock, very strong steel with 3 keys and like the fact the key stays in the lock when you open it ( at least I won't lose them). It might take a while to get used the design of the locking system, but if you read instructions carefully it's quite self explanatory. I would really recommend this lock as you really do get what you paid for & great service and quick delivery.

This lock seems to be made of good quality material, solid, and with a unique key shape, but I believe will make it harder to be opened, the keys are also good quality, not add any issues with the block rusting audit deteriorating in the weather it’s since I’ve had. A lot came with three keys, the one for other members of the family.. The lock is of a good weight which tells me it is a good quality,

excellent padlock. Very robust and perfect for our needs. Only issue was that we had to find a thinner ring for the key, as the gap in the blue top of the key was too narrow for our current key bunch - but it was easy to do and we're very happy with it. A lot seems to have improved with padlocks since we last bought one!

I bought this recently, so it’s still early to give a long-term verdict. That said, so far it’s doing exactly what I needed it to do. The padlock feels solid and well made, and it works smoothly with no issues so far. I’ll need more time to comment on long-term durability, but first impressions are positive. If you’re looking for a sturdy padlock and are happy to judge it over time, this seems like a good option. Update 20/03/2026 Been using this during a lot of rain and bad weather and it has held up 100%. Yes, it is a little pricey, but you do get your money’s worth with the weather resistance.

Already have one of the squared off one of this brand for outside storage box which is great, but wouldn't fit my shed so went for this one. It's got some proper weight to it and just feels really sturdy. Keys are solid too, not flimsy like you get with some others. Extremely happy with purchase and would definitely recommend.

Good quality. Secure locking , turn key to lock,not cheap spring. Only just got it so can't comment on corrosion but definitely looks stainless. Drain hole in bottom. Would buy again.

It feels a solid and secure padlock and is easy to lock and unlock. It is an ideal size for my driveway gates. It's a touch pricey but I'll live with that for its quality and non-rust claim.

Bought this for my partner's storage area in her new apartment. It is larger than those around, so I wanted something solid that would discourage anyone from hedging their bets by picking the largest lockup. This lock has performed as well as can be expected without actually trying to break it open. I even tried to pick it using a decent quality disc detainer picking tool and it proved much harder than other disc based locks that I have successfully picked in the past. It is certainly enough to delay or discourage any normal level of criminal to the point of quitting. As for physical resistance, the 50mm shackle is very beefy and the quality of materials and manufacture appear to be good from the look and feel. The product also has a fair weight to back up its sturdy appearance. This lock appears much sturdier than anything else in that lockup and more than most of what you can find in your average hardware store. This is an important factor for ensuring that thieves do not even try to attack your lock in the first place. This lock seems so solid that my first move to get in would be to try and cut through the locker cage panels before ever attacking the padlock, at which point everyone is getting their stuff stolen. There were very few locks available that appeared as resilient as this one within the relatively small form factor that would fit our application. I am glad to have chosen it and I think the price was good compared to more conventional options. The main usage quirk of this lock is that the key cannot be removed from the lock until the shackle is closed and locked. This is a result of the disc detainer locking mechanism which I consider to be less common and more secure than pin and tumbler. This happens to work for our usage, but might be an inconvenience to some. I will update in the event the lock is ever breached or fails. TLDR -Lock looks and feels strong with a compact form factor -Materials and design SHOULD resist intense physical attack -Less common, generally more secure disc detainer locking mechanism -Key cannot be inserted or removed until fully locked

El candado es fuerte y la llave es de seguridad, no tiene muelle, por lo tanto no salta al recibir un golpe. Yo lo veo bastante seguro, aunque es un poco caro

Recu ce jour 4 cadenas Magmaus en 50mm, j'en suis a 16 achetés. Ces cadenas me servent pour la fermeture de containers maritime en extérieur (Est de la France), les premiers ont été installés il y a plus d'un an, ils ne bougent pas. Complétement insensible à la pluie, la neige etc...., ils sont top, je recommande vraiment.
