It depends how much filtered water you drink/use. You can buy filters directly from Brio or through Amazon. Brio offers a subscription to have filters delivered every 3, 6, or 12 months. I replace mine every 6 months. We are a family of 4 and use filter daily for drinking water and making coffee.
