Works as advertised...

We recently moved households and somewhere in the remaining pile of boxes resides my original Durofix 8-volt adapter. I needed the tool it charges for some work I was doing on our new home and I discharged it completely. After days of looking could not find the charger.So...I ordered a replacement from Amazon. The description said "Only 1 left", so I ordered it immediately. As a Prime member, I'm used to Amazon and their vendors delivering quickly. A week passed by the expected delivery date and the item did not show. The tracking number never updated status of the shipment, though it showed it to be "Shipped"7 days after the adapter was supposed to arrive, I contacted Amazon customer service and asked about the adapter. The representative apologized and after checking on the order arranged for one to be sent overnight to me. Excellent customer service!The lesson to be learned is to NOT wait a week before giving Amazon a chance to correct problems.A few days after my replacement arrived, I got an automated message from customer service telling me that my first shipment was "undeliverable" according to the USPS. Obviously an error, since the replacement arrived via FedEx in one day.
