Very easy to put together. Instructions were simple and written good! I couldn’t believe how fast it grew once the lid was off! My cats absolutely loved this will definitely be buying the refills! Lasted close to a month before it started to wilt.

My kitties LOVE this kit and its way more cost effective than buying grass weekly from the store. I love that its fresh and self watering so it lasts longer. Its so fun watching them chow down on their favorite treat! Its super easy to grow, and it looks nice in the house.

My grass grew super easily. No problems at all. After I left the system for a few days and uncovered it I noticed some visitors: small colony of praying mantis nymphs! Not sure where they came from but they were only in the grass nowhere else in my kitchen. I transplanted them to my garden after taking some fun videos of their acrobatics. Did they come with the grass? I'll never know, but I am glad for each and every one of them either way.

I love this! It's so much fun, especially at home with kids. 3 days and you've got grass growing for your cat, how cool! At first, I didn't think it was growing right, with the seeds sprouting sparsely, In patches kind of thin spots all over. Then, in 2 days it thickened up and was gorgueous. It looked like True green was out here tending to my lawn. My 4 cats loved it, so I'll definitely be buying the refill set. The gras was lucious and healthy looking, so I know it was good for them and a good product. The only reason I gave 4 stars wasn't for the product or their company, but for Amazon and their horrible delivery service lately. This was 3 days late, and was my 3 item I ordered recently late. It's getting out of hand. Don't promise me Friday and then give it toe Monday... Just say Monday. Or refund my money or something. And will only upload 1 picture and I had more than 1... Aggravating. I wanted y'all to see how pretty and green and healthy the grass got. The only pic it would let me leave was the seeds in the pan.

The product exceeds my expectations. Sprouts start within 2 days and continues to grow right before my eyes Pic is after 4 days and should be ready for the cats to enjoy in a few days I bought two so that the can always have fresh grass to munch on. Update. Last pic is grass 2 days later. 4.5 inches. The best part was when my cat ate some immediately after my putting it down.

The grass grew perfectly but after a week or so I noticed tiny little flying bugs all over/in it. Assuming due to the moisture. My cats love it so not sure if I’ll try to order a refill and do it again or find something else.

I'm not sure if I missed an explanation somewhere, but the steps mention adding "soaked" seeds initially. You need to soak the seeds in water for about 8 hours to help them germinate. I soaked mine in a 2 cup measuring cup overnight. I messed up and had already added the water into the tray before I looked up on Google how long I should soak my seeds, so I had to soak my seeds, rinse them, and add them in the next day. I would also like to add that I have had this kit for a year and half, but only just now used it. It still was very easy to grow! No issues. My timeline: 1. Soak seeds overnight. 2. Add seeds over hemp mat. Spread flat. (I'm not sure that it was necessary to add the whole package of seeds. It was quite a lot.) 3. Cover for 3 days. (I checked them, then forget to uncover for another day.) 4. Added another cup of water. 5. Because it is winter, I used cling wrap and wood sticks to cover the grass and keep it warm in the window. 6. Two days later, I fully uncovered it. It's been growing tall after about a week and a half since first assembled. My cats like to tear it up to eat it, not chomp or cut the grass. I'm not sure if it will die earlier because of this. I'm going to water the system again today, but I haven't watered it since I uncovered it. I was very worried about over watering and mold, but I haven't had any issues. It smells good like how grass on the lawn smells. I do think sun exposure is quite important. The first sprouts were pale yellow for me and I watched them turn green the next morning in the window. *My level of sunshine was terrible. It was overcast for days and the days are short, but optimizing as much time as possible in the window helped it grow. I move my kit out of the window at night because it is quite cold out. (Below freezing.) 1/4 cats really loves the grass. He is a bottomless pit anyway and super playful. A second cat seems to like it. My cats love to eat my real plants and fake plants, so I was hoping for a bit more activity. I finally used this kit because another cat had surgery to remove an obstruction from his small intestine :( I am hoping to strengthen his gut health and the other cats. (The fat bottomless pit has the stinkiest BMs of all time so it's a win even if he is the only one snacking.)

Easy to grow grass and cats love! It usually only lasts a couple of weeks for me, need to keep tweaking watering schedule, but good purchase
