Easy Installation
I literally just ordered this on Amazon and followed a YouTube video to replace my side mirror on my 2013 BMW X5. Worked great, saved me hundreds of dollars compared to if I took my car to the dealership.

Doesn’t work
Wire for auto defrost was not right . Wouldn’t clip it. Just threw it in the trash and clipped the old one back in.

Eh
It's awfully flimsy. It fits okay and looks okay but it could be so much more better made

Great.
It is good for what you need it for. However, it does not have the wires for controls to move it. You have to move the position it with your hands. Bought for my grandmothers X5.

Frustrating - Wouldn't Fit
I purchased this to replace the oem mirror for my 09 x5, but this didn't fit. When comparing to the oem mirror, the placement and size of everything on the backing plate looked correct, but believe me when I tell you it didn't fit. It wouldn't work. After an hour of trying everything, including shaving some high areas on the backing plate down, it wouldn't 'click' in place. Tried pushing so much the car was shaking. Ended up peeling the mirror off this and gluing to the oem backing plate which clicked immediately with barely any force. :/
