Great "V" Belt
Great Product. The belt being made up of individual reinforced links, make it more forgiving than a traditional "v" belt. They means that it will run smoothly and quietly, while transferring maximum torque through the belt. The individual links also mean that you can adjust the length/diameter to suit your application.

Very happy
Works great on my lathe. Just a tip for anyone struggling to add or remove links, use a pair of needle nose pliers. Only takes a few seconds. I installed it on my lathe, and added as much tension as a could. Still not night enough, so I flipped the motor lever to release pressure. Then I removed all the adjustment out (to make it loose) and then took 2 links out. Then I flipped the motor down and it was almost right. Added about 1/4 of the available tension and it was perfect. This method gets the belt as tight as possible with the maximum amount of adjustment left in your tensioner assembly. This was during the break in period as the belt naturally stretches, you’re able to easily adjust the tensioner assembly without having to remove any links. I took several heavy cuts with no issues.

Product is great, packaging is awful.
The belts work great for my application that does not require a lot of torque. There packaging was awful. The belts were packaged in reverse of the natural curvature causing them to turn inside out when released. This required special tensioning on a rack I made to accomplish this task. I had to add heat to change the direction of the curvature, otherwise the belts were impossible to work with. This required way too much assembly time. Just packaging them correctly would have made this an awesome product.

Not 3/8" as described.
Item described as 3/8" belt. It measures 1/2" and does not properly fit a 3/8" pulley. It rides very high on pully and will have trouble transferring torque.

Does not work on my contractor saw
I have used these belts before and they smooth out the vibrations of motor/pulley set ups significantly, thus my recent purchase. These belts, unfortunately, will NOT work on a contractor saw where the motor hangs at the rear of the saw (see photo) because the belt will not support the weight of the motor. Shortening the belt will not work because you cannot then roll it onto the pulley. I gave it three stars because it didn't happen to work on my application. That is no reflection on the quality of the belt. 5 stars for durability because I've used these in the past and they seem to last forever. 5 stars for ease of application because it was easy to set the desired length and install, again, it just didn't work for my application. Update: I went to YouTube and there were several posts of link belts on contractor saws that worked great, so I am modifying my remarks to reflect that the belt didn't work on my contractor saw, where the motor/mounting is a bit different than on a Delta or perhaps another brand(s). My saw is a General that is no longer made.

Works great for my craftsman push mower drive belt replacement
Worked great for my craftsman self-propelled push mower drive belt the OEM belt for it was over 100 bucks ridiculous and an oddball size that I couldn’t match up at the auto parts store. This thing saved me a lot of money and worked great.!

Not supper easy to install in my application
Took a bit to get it to work on my lathe. Had to feed it around the pulley on the lathe. It was very stiff and had been sent wound backwards so I ended up stretching it out flat and heating it to take the stiffness out. Once in place it works great

Lower quality, rebound memory, corners wear down.
I had purchased a similar one a year ago and thought I was ordering the same one again. But when I received it, it was noticeably made of a stretchy material. This belt also has a rebound memory that is frustrating. It wants to flip inside out and coil up how it was packaged. I’ve tried working out the links to help this out but still wants to flip around. Also after running it only a half dozen times for a few minutes each time, the inside smaller dimension corners of the “V” part of the belt are noticeably worn down. They almost look melted. Which I could understand if I had been running it a bunch as the friction would heat up the belt but I have only run it enough to get the belt sized and positioned. Overall disappointed, as these aren’t cheap. The dimensions are great though, I do like these smaller V belts. I’ll just be sure to track down the place I bought the first one from. It’s was more of a matte light red in comparison to this one.

Yes there is less vibration on my table saw
I changed from a regular belt to this segmented belt and tested vibration before and after. There is an improvement. I hope it lasts.

Perfect for my laminator
I replaced my broken rubber belt with this and is absolutely perfect! I use it for my laminator and works so well. Grips great and will last for the life of the machine. Much much better than the old welded rubber belt. Highly recommended.
