Received "NEW" battery this October of 2018. Just found date code. Looks like it was manufactured August 1st 2016.

Is there a USB port in the battery?

No, I think they have a product that will give you that option .

Can i travel on a plane with this battery?

I am certain these are within the limits of the FAA. You can look up FAA rules on what batteries are allowed on flights and I believe there is a statement that portable tool batteries are OK however, they may be required to be in checked baggage but again the FAA rules will spell it out...
