It is OEM and perfect fit.
Probably paid more than I needed to, but it is the OEM reinforced ground strap. I expect it will last as long as the original, 23 years. Perfect fit for my 04 Silverado so I am happy.

Not OEM but will work
This is not an OEM replacement for a 2001 Yukon hood grounding strap but it does work. The OEM strap is in the wire bundle with the engine compartment light. But it works well enough

Replaced on my 2004 Chevy Silverado
GM product and good quality. My old one broke almost 1-2 years ago just now replaced it. I’m not sure if it was causing no sound on my factory radio sometimes or it would take 10-20 minutes for sound to come on.

It goes from firewall to hood. Why to the hood?

Great replacement!
Perfect fit on my 2012 GMC , just spray penetrating oil on your attachment points to get those rusty nuts off . Especially on the hood as the sheet metal on your truck will want to distort as you’re loosening the nut . All in all about 5 minutes and you’re done!

Oem gm part fraction of the cost. Worked flawlessly on my 2011 gmc sierra. This fixed alot of my sparratic gauge readings and radio interference. Common ground that breaks or is missing entirely. Worthwhile investment for piece of mind
