You can literally stand the pencil case up and pull it down to show all the pens stored inside like a cupholder! And when you are done, just extend it back up and close the zipper. Its value is great and can store many pens if needed. There is also small little storage compartments inside. Note: Fully extended, its about 7 inches tall.
