Can this be used with a vitamin c product?

Yes, I use this product every day and night after my vitamin C serum.

Is “avene concentrate” the same as “avene comedomed”? i see the bottle is labeled differently but it appears to be the same product.

Is this product containing alcohol because it smells strong alcohol?

Yes, it contains isopropyl alcohol. It works for my skin so I can’t complain. Ingredients: AVENE THERMAL SPRING WATER (AVENE AQUA), ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL, PEG-6, GLYCERIN, SILYBUM MARIANUM FRUIT EXTRACT, SILICA, POLYACRYLATE-13, POLYISOBUTENE, POLYSORBATE 20, SORBITAN ISOSTEARATE, WATER (AQUA).
