This book was recommended by a friend and I’m really grateful that I got a copy for myself. It is easy to take one day at a time, read and record my thoughts in just a few few minutes.

Priscilla Shirer is a gifted and inspirational speaker, and this devotional is indicative of the other writings and talks of hers that I've encountered before. I am a fan of her father, Tony Evans, and his (and, of course, the Lord's) influence on her are apparent. Yet she utilizes her own voice and unique insights in order to provide insightful perspectives the reader for their faith journey. I recommend!

Highly recommend. Good read.

Inspiring, perfect length, some days are deep

I love the way it is written like a personal note. The simple title to each day makes it easy to remember despite the busyness of life. I am currently on day 18 and it has been an amazing journey.

My daughter, daughter in law and I have been reading this book together over the last three months. It had been an amazing experience and we are looking forward to start on the next Priscilla Shirer book journey together. This book is ideal for home or prayer groups as well as for people who want to take their daily devotions a step further by starting a prayer diary e.g. The chapters are short enough to make sure you can manage one per day but at the same time deep enough to be inspiring and certainly always theologically sound. It isn't quite as fiery a fervent and the armour of God books, but an ideal l choice or a thorough follow up on those.
