This coupler lock functions as a visible deterrent, but it should not be considered a high-security solution. It installs easily and fits as advertised, and for the price point, it may provide some peace of mind against casual tampering. As a quick visual obstacle, it does what it’s designed to do. However, the overall construction feels lightweight, and in my experience it does not stand up to even minimal force. It can be defeated with a relatively light impact, which limits its effectiveness as a true security device. If your goal is to discourage opportunistic interference while parked in a low-risk area, it may be sufficient. If you’re looking for serious theft protection, you’ll likely want something substantially more robust. It’s an example of getting what you pay for.

Nice build quality. Fit's nicely into a 2inch coupler. Easy to put on and off. This is an extra layer of protection and some insurance companies require it to be on for coverage. I recommend this.
