Daughter loves her "boombox"
Bought one of these for my 5 year old daughter because being in Gen X I have fond memories of the boomboxes we used to have and she wanted a "radio" in her room. It's so hard finding something like this with all these garbage bluetooth cube or single speakers that permeate the market. We need boomboxes to make a comback. This one is fantastic! The audio quality is very good and the lights amuses my daughter. She uses it as her night light when she listens to Skyrim's ambient music to fall asleep to. LOLThe icing on the cake is bring able to use an SD card for music.

This piece of junk isn't even worth $50
*Update July 28, 2018*Due to how how bad this thing sounds, it was only used a few times. Today I decided to use it again and bluetooth the sound over to a speaker I was bringing to the shower and that's when I discovered the motor that spins the CD to be read no longer operates; does not spin. Less than 10 uses of this thing, maybe less than 5 and it's broken.*Update end*Still trying out all the functions but it's taking a bit because every time I look at it and touch it, I am tempted to throw the thing in the garbage. I am so angry right now at having wasted $89.99 on this junk. The sound is awful. You MUST select an EQ preset and none of them sound good. There is no manual EQ to adjust nor a way to turn off the preset function. Running it through something else to get a better sound doesn't help much either. My cheap. old junk boom box (Supersonic SC709CD) sounds better when ran through another stereo. This thing isn't even worth 50 bucks, much less the $89.99 I paid for it..The only reason I give this two stars is it almost has all the features I wanted and nothing under $150 had come as this one to having close to all I wanted (bluetooth out/in, aux in/out, remote control, SD card & USB slots, tape deck, etc). With this you are paying for features albeit the whole thing is VERY cheap made and something that looks cool, looks like great sound & quality (if the slow speaker blinking lights are off). The remote is longer than it needs to be, annoyingly so and is very cheap made. I wonder how long that will last? I feel not long. There's so much I can list that is junk about this thing and I don't feel liking spending all day writing it all out but I will continue to list some other things. This boombox is has no bass to it, not even enough to give the music a proper sound balance (if you try, it brings down the audio quality). The EQ presets that put out the most bass (Jazz is the best), makes the music sound more muffled (like it's in a box or a pillow over the speakers. The radio itself is lightweight which may sound good but it's so lightweight it almost feels like a hollow plastic tube you are lifting. Doesn't feel like quality at all is inside (speakers or other parts inside).I haven't gotten around to trying the USB or SD card functions yet nor plugging in a set of good headphones yet and now I am not expecting this to be worth anything either. I do have a bluetooth transmitter coming in the mail to use with it, to stream music played out to other things, but I doubt that will help for my needs anymore than the way I am doing it now (as I did with my cheap old Supersonic SC709CD boombox; using the headphone jack for output, which sounds good doing it that way using the Supersonic). I also have not used the radio receiver since I don't listen to broadcast radio. The antenna for this pulls out and goes straight up, you can't swivel it around to adjust reception which I have read reception sucks anyway. And of course, I didn't think to check before ordering but now I realize there is no tape deck (yes, some of us still use those). This has 4 speakers, 2 on the side slightly smaller and 2 on the front that's slightly bigger and all of them are aluminum or some kind of cheap metal.I haven't used it with batteries as I know things like this suck batteries down extremely quick. The lights are worthless and annoying but could have been nice. Think like a strobe light in it's slowest setting for these lights. There appears to be no off switch, meaning you must go through the gamut of colors if you hit the wrong button (all 8 or 9 of them) to get that annoyance off. The lights are numbered on the screen at 01, 02, 04, etc. but they end before it reaches even number 10. Why? So much about this feels like something that was abandoned halfway through being designed. What's good about it? Aesthetically it looks cool, has a decent amount of features, won't take much effort to toe around due to being so lightweight. I can't think of much else yet that's positive to say about it.BTW, it should be possible to fix some of it's issues with a firmware update (the lights & sound for example) though I doubt the company will ever do that.Toshiba Wireless Bluetooth Boombox Speaker: Portable CD Boom Box with FM Radio, Remote & LED Lights

Excellent boombox that looks cool!!
I have not had a boombox in over 10 years since my old Sony X series boombox died on me. Boomboxes have changed a bit since 10 years ago....this Toshiba boombox is really a nice looking & good sounding boombox. It has a top-load CD player along with FM radio with digital tuning using a simple knob with no tuning pre-sets. Speakers are fine....2 front speakers light on/off in a blue tone....nice. There is 2 side speakers too [sub-woofers most likely]....they don't light up. It will put out some decent sound, but of course....it's a small/medium-sized boombox so it won't rattle the walls. There is a USB port & SD card slot for attaching MP3 player plus music on SD cards into this unit just fine. Headphone jack & a line-in jack completes this tidy good sounding boombox. Seems pretty easy to use without using the remote. It does come with a remote control that uses 2 "AA" batteries [not included] & covers the essential functions of this boombox. It has Bluetooth connection too. I love this unit, very nice and a solid 5 star rating on it. I cannot really think of a negative comment except the lack of FM stereo station pre-sets.....but that's minor since I don't listen to radio much anymore and use CDs, MP3's and SD cards much more anyways. 5 stars I give this boombox!!

It looks cool
I believe itās been a week since Iāve owned this product. Iām upset to say that Iām not itās biggest fan. I expected more for some reason.I was going to buy a Sony, but this one just looked visually cooler.Out of excitement, I threw out the box and everything but the boombox. So Iām kind of stuck with it. I donāt think Iām able to return it.Speakers are loud. Just loud. Even though I have the options to change through āflat, classic, rock, jazz, etcā itās not too much of a difference between sound. The lights are the most awful thing about the product. Although you can change between what colors you want, itās not cool. Not cool at all.The lights donāt go with the music. It blinks every second. One color, over and over again. Itās boring. I keep it off. I didnāt want the lights anyways. But every time I turn the boombox on, I have to go through the settings to keep it off. Super sucky. The only cool features other than itās appearance would be that it plays CD, has Bluetooth, and radio.
