This was just my first night sleeping with them on and i was in pain. should i be in pain ? can i walk with them on ? how long before i can sleep well

It takes time for your foot, legs, muscles to adjust to the passive stretching. When I first started wearing a splint it took a couple weeks to build up the tolerance to more than an hour. After a couple of weeks I was able to sleep through the night. Before switching to this splint my foot was warm and would cause me to wake up and I would remove the splint. I do not have that problem now and can sleep comfortably through the night with it on.

Can you tell me if it is recommended that a women’s size 7.5 should purchase a small? The size small states less than 7.5, however a medium says 8-10.

At a shoe of 7.5 you must get a Medium. I have a shoe size of 6-7 depending on the shoe. In the small boot my toe touches the top. I have worn a Medium boot as well it was ok for me as well just had extra at the top but not excessive.

No, it's sold for either your right or left foot. I was having issues with plantar phascitis in my left foot. This boot was the best thing I found to help with my heel pain. I highly recommend it.
