It works as advertised. Blocks signal so cannot unlock doors by touch. Inside, car will not start when fob is inside box. Took off one star for lack of quality control. One of the two I purchased had scratches in the finish (not down to bare metal) on two sides of the top. Doesn't influence function, but still, a simple visual inspection seems basic to customer satisfaction.

Tried the soft bag but did NOT work. This one does. A little cumbersome but well worth it to protect theft of my vehicle. Come with secure stick-on swivel ring to hang on key chains or hooks. Highly recommend!

This does work and no concerns of it falling apart like those soft case ones that users complain of after a few weeks to a month or so.The downside to this is getting used to a hard case for your keys. it's probably around the size of a pack of cigarettes.I've used it for a few weeks and it is still a bit of a pain to get used to, but much less than someone getting the code off my key fob and breaking in or stealing my car.it's one of those "additional steps to protect yourself" type items.With the fob in the case, even with the lid off, my door doesn't register it until I pull it out over 3/4 to all the way, and same with the ignition.Once I start the car, I drop it back in and if I open the door, it says key not found.Now it seems my fob has the transmitter on the end opposite where the keys are, so you may want to confirm, test it for your situation, but with it like that, I don't even need the lid on and it works.I managed to just fit the fob and my keys in this, though I had to take a few things off of it, so your options will vary.

Bought this for my Ridgeline when I go to the beach. Works great. Just remember to lock it in the glove compartment so whomever breaks into your car has to work a little harder to start it.

Will stop Signal thiefs as long as keys are in the box ivedone my own test with this item and It blocks the signal completely I can't interact with my car at all while the keys are in the box perfect for me only thing I'd change is the hard Interior creating an annoying jingle when I walk with keys in pocket

It works if you want to test door access…but, if you put the closed black box with the fob in your console cup holder…you can start your vehicle…so my conclusion is that this provides limited protection. It should not be able to start the car if the fob is in the black box.

My car was broken into because the thefts were able to increase the range of my keyless fob (which was in my purse, in the house). In 7 secs, they entered my car, grab a few things and shut and locked my door. So down the rabbit hole I went and released I needed a pouch or box to block the signal. I decided to get this box. To test the box, I locked my car, put the fob in the box and tried to unlock my car. I could not get into my car with the fob in the box. So it does what I need it to when I am not actively driving my car.
