- Pocketbook Flip - Black Cover for Era

Perhaps a trifle overpriced, but one does have to pay for quality.

Yeesh, what a ripoff. This frankly comes across as one of those useless bare-minimum accessories that comes in the box and you promptly throw it away and get something else that actually works. One particular problem is that this covers only the screen (aside from wrapping around the "spine" edge of the device to attach at the back)--it doesn't protect the back or edges of the device, so there's zero protection from drops. Forget about paying for this thing, I wouldn't use it even if it were free.

This is hardly worth $15-$20, but there aren’t really any other options for PocketBooks just due to the sheer dominance of other e-reader brands. I do wish that it was somewhat sturdier, but it feels nice, attaches securely, and doesn’t add any unnecessary bulk. The magnets attach securely and it does protect the screen from scratches and damage in my bag, which is all I really wanted. It just feels like a thin piece of cardboard wrapped in fake leather and microfiber. It doesn’t feel like it will slip and bend on accident or anything, but if it were just a hair thinner, that would be a serious concern. Obviously it doesn’t protect the back or sides, just the screen and the left edge where it wraps around. If you can get one for a good price <$25 and this is what you’re looking for, you probably won’t regret it. But again, it’s not like there are many other options out there.

It's very lightweight, and does sleep/wake just fine. But it feels extremely cheaply made, like it's made on thin cardboard. It also isn't flush against the back of the device when open, making the device uncomfortable to hold. Strange that the Pocketbook Era has such great build quality, yet its case feels like cheap cardboard.

I can't believe I blew $30 on this. It doesn't even seem to fit correctly. It's like 40 cents of materials.

Incredibly disappointing. While it is a flap case and it's made by PocketBook, the fact that this is as expensive as listed is embarrassing. This is simply a very thin flap, you install it by prying the plastic door off the back and snapping this on. The problem is there is not much to this. It's a thin piece that folds over the screen. It provides zero protection and honestly could have been included for free in the package with the eReader as it feels like it cost pennies to make.

The cover fits as advertised. Easy to use and still read using one hand. I like being able to read and then flip the cover over when I need a break. I wish the sleep mode lasted a little longer, but I think that's a function of the reader, not the cover.

Ottimo accessorio per proteggere Pocketbook Era.

I love the Pocketbook Era it just screams quality. Unfortunately, this cover doesn't. It feels really cheap and it marks very easily. It's as thin as cardboard and the other side which is a felt material feels so delicate and I don't expect it will age well. For an official product by Pocketbook it's quite disappointing. If only it were made a lot better I'm quality and materials like what you'll find at an Apple Store it'd be a winner.

For the price this should be a very nice quality case. What you actually get is a cheap clip on dust cover that protects only half the device. There's many cheaper cases that cost less and do more. Do yourself and your wallet a favour by purchasing a third party case.
