Buy the Larger size! Love this!
This table is perfect for me! I'm a lady and my hip/thigh area is fairly large causing me to hesitate to commit to buy any of these lap trays. I was afraid that they wouldn't fit around me. However, I find that this actually gives me the perfect amount of wiggle room under this table- I can actually sit comfortably in a relaxed Indian style pose. I use this table on my wide recliner for the most part and on occasion in my bed. I ordered that black/gray color. It is a warm gray with a very faint hint of a reddish under tone which my boyfriend can't see; he claims I have cyborg eyes when it comes to colors though lol Some reviewers say the the table is a bit too high for them even on the lowest setting which concerned me. However, I think the height settings for this table is perfect. I use it while I watch tv (my tv is on a 3.5ft stand so its higher than most entertainment centers) so I can work on my computer while comfortably glancing at the tv without having to wrench my neck around my computer screen. The larger size desk is perfect for my 15" MacBook Pro and has enough room to place a full size mouse pad next to it. I was worried about the mouse stopper ledge being painful to rest my wrist on and it is NOT because the stopper is a soft silicon that collapses under the weight of your wrist. I can't even tell that it is under my wrist when working other than the fact that it keeps my mouse from sliding off. It came attached to my lap desk when I received it and I'm too scared of ripping it off to see if its detachable. The ledge that holds the laptop on is definitely detachable and is held in with tension alone. Because of that, I would suggest not to constantly take it on and off due to loosening the holes in the mdf board over time. I was worried about it being in my way but, it's positioned perfectly in the center so while typing my wrists don't really come in contact with it. I don't use this on any kind of table because to me I'm scared it may get bumped and tip over with my weighty MacBook Pro sitting on it and I'm not willing to chance it! I think its stability is subjective really depending upon what you're sitting on it and how well the weight it distributed, yah know, common sense stuff. I do agree with others that say this slides too much to be used on a table but, that can be fixed easily with gripping, rubberized furniture feet that you can purchase here on Amazon- cut to size, peel and stick. Seems simple enough a fix to me. Not sure about the sturdiness of the legs so far since I've only had it a week. So far, I haven't had any issues with them but, I'm very careful with my stuff. They do seem pretty light weight but not so light that it can't support my computer and the weight of my arms while typing. They are held open with tension and if you slide it to the left or right too far, the leg may close. My table isn't wobbly like some people say- another thing I worried about. I find it very stable when typing. Overall, I can't believe anyone would hate this table. If this desk breaks one day, I would definitely buy it again to replace it. I don't know how I would go on using my laptop without it! Love, love, love it. Highly recommended! Pictures show the desk sitting around me on the couch.

This is PERFECT for me, i'm very happy
For my needs , this is perfect. I got my first one of this exact tray in May of 2021. I got a second one that same month after finding out how exactly it did what i needed. I was spending all day on my laptop, a 13 inch MacBook Pro. i did not like sitting up using the laptop, i wanted to basically lay with my legs stretched out, while sitting somewhat reclined, i mean comfortable. i tried a couple of plastic things that didn't work out, not stable, like kids coloring tables, or an artist's table that holds tools. I'd already looked at laptop desks on Amazon, they have a huge selection , but until i found this one, they were all too wide, the distance between the 'legs' were too far apart so that if i laid on my couch where i spend most of the day, the leg/stand on the outer side would just fall, there was nothing for it to stand on because it was too wide.. If i found one that was more snug but it still wasn't snug enough. To me it seemed to not be designed for use laying on your couch propped up by the arm of the couch on one end, the way people sometimes lay if they're reading a book or a magazine. I had problems on my bed as well, the wider ones didn't fit right to do the job, they would slide off the side of the bed. i wanted, being a stable desk for my laptop so i can use the laptop for the many things it does without thinking about it, this one does what it does without me having to pay attention to it. It's essentially a little table that fits my couch or bed, or anything bigger, so i can work and play on my computer without thinking about whether it's going to fall off its table. So i've had these two laptop trays for 3 1/2 years and forgot about how much I appreciate them. Then one of them broke. The stand came off one of the legs, the one on the right. i found the stand and could stick it back on but not securely. It didn't wobble, i would have forgotten it was broken. A small piece of plastic had broken off where the tray attaches to the leg. I am surprised these have lasted as long as they have, especially the one in the family room, because i move around more, i have two dogs, and being on the couch is closer to the edge than being on the bed. The result is that the stand has fallen more times than i can remember, and usually with the laptop on it. It handles fall well, all the parts are very tightly attached to each other, but the noise made when the computer and stand fall to the floor is ugly, and i always pray when i pick up the computer, i got the computer in October 2020 so i didn't have it very long before i got the trays, I will give both trays and computer credit for standing up to human error and clumsiness. Both laptop trays look like they did when they were new. They aren't scratched or bent or marked. i got the light color, it gives me a nice feel. When one of them broke a few days ago, i continued using it. I wasn't sure what i was going to do. It seemed as if putting some Super Glue into the place where the two parts attached might work. The only reason i didn't come to Amazon to buy a new one immediately was because about a year agoi wanted to get another one as a back up to put in my car but i couldn't find this model. i think they still had this brand but not in the Medium size. Anything larger than the medium of this stand wouldn't fit my situation. i remember being frustrated. i spent a lot of time looking for these the first time i got them and these were the only brand i found that met my essential needs for the fit in relation to my furniture. But, i decided to go ahead and look on Amazon, i searched my previous orders and found what i was looking for, i was so happy to see they seemed to still be here, asking me "Buy another one?" i clicked on the product link and sure enough there it was the same one, and it had the two sizes, medium and large. i was in suspense, i got out a tape measure and sure enough, this was the one that will not fall off my couch, unless i accidentally knock it off. i was happy to get fast shipping and now i'm using my brand new one, same color, so i really can't tell the difference between the new one and the much used 3 years old ones. i think the problem with all other products being too wide for my couch, is that they are designed for PCs, not MacIntosh laptops or not the small mac laptops anyway. All the other one have a large space for a mouse pad, which i don't need, my laptop has a self contained track pad. The less space the laptop tray takes the better. If i wanted more room i could get the large size but i don't have a use for anything bigger.

Sturdy and durable.
This product is sturdy and durable. It fits well around my legs. Its height adjustable but I am short so I keep it on the lowest height setting. I like that it tilts. The barriers on the front keep things from sliding off. However, my mouse slides off the side sometimes. I took the measurements and was sure that my laptop would fit correctly on this, but it kind of doesn't. It's not a problem, though, because it kind of just sits a little bit on top of the mouse pad. I took a star because I think the mouse pad should sit closer to the right edge and that the laptop stopper should be a little bit longer. I don't really care about the looks, but it does look pretty sleek. It's not very heavy and easy to move around even with my equipment on it. There's enough room for my mouse and for a cup of tea. It hasn't tilted forward or back or sideways. My tea stayed put when I moved around. I really kind of like this table. It has really served it's purpose while i've been recovering from surgery and the bedridden.

Nearpow didn't miss the mark!
I chose my table very carefully and it paid off big time. I am glad and want you to be too. That's why I wrote this review. I went primarily by reviews and the video of how the Nearpow functions. Well, truth be told--I hopped right into bed with this table. How did things go you ask? I'm not one to kiss and tell but I am 6' tall and was able to comfortably cross my legs (yoga style) underneath. Someone with plus-sized legs should do great. The table is a perfect size for comfort and productivity. My purposes for using this table are multifold now. If you watch Nearpow's video you will be able to see how one can rearrange the "ledges" for right or left handed people. These pieces are meant to be moved around or removed. There is no permanence in what you decide--they may be interchanged as often as you wish. It will be a perfect meal-in-bed tray since they provide plastic hole coverings for the "ledges". Nearpow's engineer put some serious thought into this table. It's easy to adjust and manipulate for purposes like those I mentioned and it looks great to boot! I am quite frankly amazed at this things overall versatility and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product in general. There are two types of fake wood in my opinion. Good and bad. This is good fake wood. My son is a plastics engineer and consequentially, I have an understanding of what high quality polymer looks like when I see it. Nearpow spared no expense in making this noteworthy product. I feel comfortable giving the Nearpow four stars for sturdiness. It exceeds what my expectations had been. I do not anticipate having any issues with it either. Obviously, I'm very pleased with my purchase. It isn't often that I get this enthusiastic about something so basic. Simply perfect and appropriately priced (I would have paid twice as much for the Nearpow if had seen it in person) considering the quality and flexibility Nearpow is a No-brainer. If you have gotten this far into my unpaid review, then I just want to emphasize that this table should work for long legged people like myself. Congratulations! You have truly reached the end of my Nearpow review. Hopefully, I will save someone from deliberating over which table to buy as there are more of them than we would have thought, right? Go ahead and add the Nearpow to your cart. You'll be glad you did.

Perfect for snuggling with kitties on the couch!
Thatโs right, this little laptop desk is perfect for snuggling with the kitties on the couch while working from home or doing schoolwork! I set it up where I want it to be and my cat can still lay in my lap just fine without me constantly hitting him tro get to the mouse or keyboard. That and my neck are the two reasons I went looking for something. When Iโm working at my standing desk my posture is great, but when I want to sit down somewhere, itโd be nice to be able to elevate my computer so Iโm not hurting my neck by staring down all day. This puts it at the perfect height, and can be adjusted up to allow for a cat, or kept at the lowest height for added comfort. Th ability to tilt it is a bonus! Then I can configure it to just where I need it, and lock it in place. I also love that the legs arenโt straight down, but off to the side a bit so I can comfortably put my legs under it. The two stops that they provide work really well, my Thinkpad is a little heavy & those keep it in place no problem and arenโt uncomfortable for me to rest my wrists on at all. Thereโs enough room for my phone on the desk too. My laptop is larger since I have a keyboard with the number pad, so I knew I wouldnโt be able to get a mouse on there, which is just fine for me. I donโt like using a mouse when itโs just my laptop anyway.

"Larger size" Is great, mobile, light, perfect for drawing.
I'm a professional artist and use my 12.9" Ipad for digital art creation often. I like the mobility and not being tied to a desk. However, I found I needed a lap desk for it as I was straining my back using it. I find this product to be just the ticket. It's light-weight so it's easy to carry around with me anywhere I want to take it, but sturdy enough that it can take me leaning on it or pressing into it. That is, it wobbles A BIT because it's not a heavy piece of equipment, so I wouldn't test its limits or anything, but it works for the amount of pressure I put into my work. It fits perfectly into most of my chairs/couch cushions (as I show in the pic) and has enough space around my thighs that it's still comfortable. If I put it on a lower desk or table, it also makes for a cool stand-up desk option, which I love. It has adjustable notches for the height of the desk and the angle of the table face, which I also appreciate as I adjust to any scenario for my posture. I've had it for about a month now, and I love it. I would recommend it for anyone who's looking to draw, write, read, or set a laptop on.

I love this thing.
I am a full time student going into teaching and an avid gamer. My laptop is pretty much an extension of myself. Now I am a huge ergonomics fan. Comfort is the name of the game for me. Between the funky angles you have to sit at with a laptop and the heat factor, I just can't seem to function without a lap desk. I have owned others that were actually more comfortable than this one to be honest. But they were super bulky, and wore out too quickly. None of them were quite as versatile as this lap desk either. I have owned this for about two months now and it is still going solid even with the rugged use I put it through. I will spare telling you how it works, there are youtube reviews for that. But if you are looking for a (multi)functional lap desk, look no further. This is for sure the simplest, sturdiest, and most adaptable lap desk I have owned. Of course don't go trying to use it for a standing stool to change a light bulb... but if used properly I see this lap desk far and away lasting it's money's worth. It can handle any lap desk-esc job you throw at it. At any angle you might want. Even on somewhat unsteady ground thanks to the feet actually extending separately from one another. The ONLY thing I have against it is that it's a tad high at the lowest level, but I've compensated well enough with some pillows as arm rests. Also keep in mind this does elevate your laptop using feet, so pay attention to the dimensions in the details and maybe measure where you sit. I sit at a couch or in bed with my laptop, but you might find difficulty standing it in some narrow seated chairs or recliners. Happy shopping!

A little disappointment but pretty good overall tray table.
This was kind of a pricey buy for me, especially for a tray table. But "whatever", I thought, "I deserve something nice to mess around on my laptop with in bed." So I bought it, received it in the mail, and set it up. It's not very tightly screwed. It's kind of difficult to describe but I'll try: So it's not like it'll fall over or anything, in terms of its' height there's not a problem there. But the issue comes in when I try to pull or push it away from me. The legs don't stay in their adjusted position well, and the latches to tilt the top of it toward or away from you work okay but you can still jiggle it so it doesn't stay entirely in position. I am planning to try and tighten all the screws to see if it makes a difference but for the money I paid I just didn't quite feel like it was as high quality as I expected it to be. That said, it's a good size and the top of the tray table is a nice design that I've liked from the start. It looks good in person and matches the picture pretty much perfectly. It's pretty easy to fold and move around as well, so I suppose overall it's not a bad buy. I'd rate the purchase as pretty good and give it 3 out of 5 Breakfasts in bed.

Sturdy, easy to use and super stylish.
Are use this every day and it has never let me down. It is easy to carry, easy to store, easy to adjust and looks great! It is quite sturdy for how light it is. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to use the computer on a sofa or on the bed.

Faulty description and overpriced
I wish I can rate with no stars. After very long waiting, and reminders sent to the supplier, I just received a cheap looking laptop tray, which is listed in amazon for 35 AED, while I paid much more for this. The item received is not as what described, and it dosen't have the recline and height adjustment, and it is totally a different cheaper product. I had made my purchase decision based on the product reviews in here... strange how many satisfied customer with this supplier! Returning it.

Easy to use, comfortable, flexible lightweight.
Easy to open, adjust, use, close and put away. Very light. Extremely handy and comfortable to put across my legs and work on my laptop, sitting in bed or on the floor ( those are the two places that I use this table ). Very happy with the product.
