Good product
Comes in a cardboard frame. Works very well to see magnetic strength and pattern.

You need a strong field to see the effect, but it's pretty amazing.
I have been using the green field viewer sheets for years, and they are great, but I was looking for something that made a clearer image. So I got some of these. And they are amazing! I thought they'd be good, given the reviews, but I assumed that the photos were faked. They aren't—you really do get different colors and a very striking pattern when you have an interesting magnetic field to make visible. The only downside is this: This film only works on really strong fields. Refrigerator magnets.... Nope. You need strong rare earth magnets to see a good effect. But if you have strong magnets and you need to make a striking visualization of their field.... This is a great tool for the job!

I suppose it works as advertised
I suppose it works as advertised but it is not the fun toy I was hoping for. It will only react if a magnet is within 1/4 inch, It does not react to any of my electrical equipment, yet my phone app will tell me about magnetic fields when in the same spot. When laying on a magnet, the colors are not near as bright as the pictures indicate. It shows no indication from my phone. Limited fun.

Awesome toy and useful for subjective comparisons of magnets
Have had a lot of fun with this product. It is geared towards stronger magnets, as it doesn't reveal data on magnetic stripes. Good for subjective comparison of magnetic strengths. Pictured: an N52 round beside a weaker (maybe N35?) rectangle.

This material is sensitive to magnetic fields.
Good material reveals magnetic fields, sensitive, and a good frame. It will help me with coil winding project. Good value.

Only Good For Very Strong Fields
Does it work? Yes. But it’s not so revealing unless the magnetic field is VERY strong.
