NICE LOOKING BELT
When I asked my husband what he liked best about his new military style belt he said...IT HOLDS MY PANTS UP. Um, yeppers! Besides that...and this being a very important factor...these belts look good while doing their job of keeping up pants! The belt comes in a variety of colors; my husband purchased the Army green. The belts are made of acrylic and canvas. They are approximately 54 inches long and about 1.25 inches wide. There's a nice looking antique brass buckle too. This belt looks nice with his jeans and his camo pants and shorts too. They are durable and can be wiped clean with a wet cloth.

Not exact repro of official US issue, but seems reasonable, sufficient substitute
If you agonizing which brand to get, I say this one is GOOD ENOUGH and great value. If you like the real US military version, no, not an exact reproduction of an official US issue, but so far seems a reasonable, sufficient, probably durable substitute. The web weight and weave is a bit less hefty than my WWII original which finally wore down, but it is reasonably close. And yes, as others said, the buckle bolt can be a bit harder to dislodge if it is tightened tightened too hard/far, but you CAN get it opened (yes, may at times need something to gently pry it back loose). If you do it right you can open it by hand. I do like the antiqued brass finish buckle (vs. shiny), since best for most casual looks (vs. for a dress uniform!). And the olive color is perhaps one shade lighter than true US Olive Drab, but it is pretty darn close. So I am happy with it. I was able to mark a line with a pen and cut the excess length off with sharp scissor.

Automatically sized belts
These are just a great adjustment, you donโt have to worry about punching holes and will adjust in fractions.

Functional belt that is kind of chintzy.
Well, I guess you get what you pay for. The brass cap, or whatever it is if it is if it's not brass, fell off a bunch of times, so I ended up throwing it out and just burned the end off so that it wouldn't fray... Other than that, it's a functional belt.

Simple and reliable
Reminds me of the belt buckle I had about fifty years ago in the Navy except this one looks pre-tarnished and I don't have to polish it with Brasso! The belt was way too big, even for my expanded waist but an easy fix is to pry up the clamp holding the belt to the buckle and remove the belt. Then cut the belt to the length you need, burn the end with a propane lighter or match and then re-insert the belt back in the buckle. Sometimes the buckle is hard to release. You have to tighten it slightly to release pressure on the catch and then slide the catching mechanism back. It's a bit like when your car seat belt tightens up after you hit a bump and you have to release the pressure slightly to open it up again. BTW, these are actually steel instead of brass. I checked it with a magnet.

Good purchase!
This was a gift to my father. He loved it! Good quality on the material and the buckle. It is long but perfect because if too long you just havebtu cut it.

Webbed Canvas Belt with Brass Buckel
The webbing belt is of good quality but the buckle seems to have been purchased from a new supplier which is not quite the quality of the buckle I had purchased 4 years ago. All in all it does what it is supposed and functions well.
