Works exactly as intended and is an authentic product my only complaint is that its very expensive ink.. that isnt Amazon's fault its that of the manufacturer.

Solved an Epson Firmware update
Had to buy Epson cartridges to solve a firmware update issue on my Workforce Pro WF-4730. I received a firmware update from Epson, let it install, then my compatible colour cartridges were "not recognized". Researching online, there didn't seem to be a successful solution (and tried!) to the problem...uninstall, remove cartridges and reset, power off and on, etc.....Fortunately, at a higher cost for the 3 colors, the printer "recognized" them and problem was solved. Ironically (and infuriating!), 2 or 3 days later, I received a notice from Epson stating you should not allow the firmware update if you have installed "compatible/non-Epson" cartridges.
