Samfolk Faraday Box with Faraday Bags for Car Keys, Car Key Signal Blocking Box, Keyless Entry Car Key Safe Protector Anti-Theft Shielding Cage

I got this about a year ago, I don’t remember what size I got. It’s about 8x5x5 inches. It has a nice subtle synthetic leather material finish on the outside, inside it looks like a very fine tightly woven velvet, something like what a watch or jewelry display/storage box would have. I live in a safe area so I don’t really need to worry too much but, it does work. I like the tiny and large pouches it comes with, those work great as well. So if you leave to work you can put your keys in that pouch while you’re at work. The box and pouches look pretty reasonably durable, they aren’t made for destructive entry, it’s not a safe or locker, it doesn’t have a lock to begin with. I just leave the tiny chest by my bedroom door and grab my keys, to be honest I don’t bother using the pouches because my work place is a giant hangar and I’m pretty far away from the car, and some other reasons. They are nice to have though, I should keep the pouches in my car instead of the box, so I can determine if I need them wherever I go.

Outstanding functionality. Outstanding quality. Outstanding price, especially considering the quality. I have a '24 Bentley Continental GT and a '25 Mercedes AMG GT63 coupe. Both cars are heavy on electronics. I put the keys in the box and went right to the doors of both cars, and neither car sensed the key. Then I opened the cars, put the keys back in the box, sat in both cars and still the cars didn't sense the keys. My home office is just the other side of the garage, so where I keep the keys is only about 20 feet from the cars. So this caused constant battery problems. I finally got smart and ordered this little box. Now I lock the cars in the garage and put the keys in the box, and the cars are then fully asleep, not draining the batteries 24/7. I am amazed that this box only cost $17.88.

Works as advertised. Put key fob in box, take it out to vehicle, try to open door with touch on door handle, no response from vehicle. Pop open the latch, it still doesn't respond. Not sure why some others are reporting issues, but mine is rock solid. Peace of mind that no one can hijack my key fob wirelessly at my house. First 2 key FOBs with 1 also having house keys on them, cell phone, wallet with some room to spare (medium sized box) Only negative to report - the packaging was a hassle to get off. Very tight, hard to rip plastic and then a foam wrap underneath that. Other than clamshell packaging, probably the hardest item I have ever had to unwrap! LOL

I got the large sized one and it comfortably fits 4 key fobs. (You could pile up probably 4 more but I don’t want to dig for the fob I’m looking for). The lock easily closes and makes it so you know the box is properly closed. I tested the box by trying to open my car door with the fobs inside the box and it actually worked. The car didn’t detect the fobs so I know my cars are protected when the fobs are inside the box. However, the inside of the box seems to get dirty/stained easily, so make sure your hands are clean, dry, and try to avoid touching the inside walls of the box if you wish to keep it looking brand new.

They both work wonderfully!!! I had used aluminum foil for my backup car key and the foil also worked fine, but bag and box not only look much nicer than aluminum foil, but they're both much more convenient. Aluminum foil wasn't convenient enough to use on my car key that I use on a daily basis, but this small bag sure is. And, the box is a nice fixture on the small table where we keep the extra keys. It's super easy to simply drop our keys in the box and close it. I tested both and was pleasantly surprised that there seemed to be no way for the key to unlock the car while in the box or the bag - even when I carried it right up to the car. The bag fits in my pocket, so if I wanted to carry it with me, I could. In fact, I carried it on a recent road trip where my car wouldn't be garaged for the entire trip. I saw a YT video by Mark Rober, yesterday, about car thieves hacking remotes and he was very successful. And, when he suggested solutions, I'm pretty sure this bag was one of the examples that flashed across the screen (might have been a lookalike, though). He said there are also fake products that don't work out there, so get one that gets good reviews and test it when you get out. Thankfully, this was the first one we bought and both the box and the bag worked great. My car is garaged with very few exceptions, such as the recent road trip, but I love the idea of frustrating any would-be thieves using tech gadgetry to try to steal my Honda. 😄 I would highly recommend!

It honestly works. Both the faraday phone/car key pouches and the box. I tested the key pouch on my car as posted in a video and you can see how much the large box fits. The only thing I can’t fit is my JBL 5 speaker but almost! I tested my phone in the box and the pouch separately using my speaker and it completely disconnects the Bluetooth both ways. You can keep the box safely next to your bed and still be protected. The box seems a little stubborn to open but the key to open it is pushing up on the bottom of the latch and it will pop nice and easy!

After having a car thief show up on our Ring system a few nights ago, I woke up the next day and did my research on relay theft and signal boosting. Yep, that's what he did. And as I told the police, in my opinion, he was a professional in the game. Luckily, he didn't steal the car or find anything worth stealing, or tear anything up trying. Also, without an actual key, he could not access the glove box. Please note that with the right electronic relay, a thief can start the car. Part of my learning process made me aware that a Faraday box could be tested. That relieved my fear of purchasing something I had no experience with, and hopefully, I wouldn't be wasting money learning. Note too that, prior to purchasing, I tried a test placing the car remote inside my double-sided Yeti water jug. It worked, and thinner, non-double-walled metal containers did not. Now the good news. After receiving the Samfolk Faraday Box the next afternoon, I tried different tests. One, with the remote in the Pouch/Bag inside the box, and then without. The box alone was all that was needed. Not only does it successfully stop any signal, but it's a pretty good-looking box, and well-priced for what's technically needed.

A great product which works brilliantly to block the signal from our keyless entry car keys. You can stand next to the car with the keys safely in the box and the signal is completely blocked ….. open the box just a little and the signal is present and available, box works a treat !
