How is the center chassis piece held to the frame?. It looks like there’s no screws to mount it.

Middle Chassis Armor fixed by 3M double-sided tape，warm up the double-sided tape with Hair dryer before stick it to the chassis , it will stick more stronger (clean the chassis surface before this step)

Traxxas Xmaxx

Fits perfectly and has protected my xmaxx from so good jumps and rocks and curbs and tree roots you didn't know where there till your damn car goes flying and tumbling mud air. And even then my truck was fine, the front piece get bent out of shape but with some tools and a little bit of determination I seemed to be messing it up but in the end I got it straight sideways and it looks gooder again!!!

This will protect the bottom of your xmaxx but adds to much weight had to take off and couldn't use truck just slams the ground. Don't recommend leave the chassie stock replacement parts are cheap when the get to beat up.

Customer Service at it’s best

I purchased this for my son for Christmas gift it arrived quickly and on time the metal is really thick and tough it will add great protection to his XMAXX but we couldn’t find the hardware to mount it I contacted customer service and immediately they worked hard the day after Xmas to get the hardware out to us keeping us happy was a priority I would highly recommend you buy this and rest assured you will be happy with all aspects of the deal
