These were not great. They did expand very big but then burst in the freezer. Not ideal for a lunchbox or anything like that.

I would give a 5 but the first 5 of them I froze burst. I was almost afraid to try the rest. But I did and they didn’t bust. I still have them.

Allowed to soak 2 minutes 30 seconds to avoid expanding too much, based on prior reviews. Froze over night. Started wtih two ice packs. Each solidified approximately the size of a 12 ounce soda, both in diameter and length. Two were utilized and both were completely defrosted within 2 hours 10 minutes. These were in an enclosed insulated container with approximately 1 cup of water. I placed them in sandwhich ziplock bags first to avoid absorbing any additional moisture or water, to hopefully prevent them from splitting. Clearly did not last 4 to 7 times longer than ice. Note it was used outdoors in 103 degree temperatures. Used these three days consecutively, with temperatures 103 to 108. Longevity of staying cold is 2 hours to 2.5 hours. Pending the quantity utilized and preventing them from absorbing more water, hopefully they will last a while. For now 3 stars. Reasonable price for 15 packs. Uncertain how they will hold up. Clearly over stated "cold" time from the description.

I was making a 10 hour trip with my granddaughters' birthday cakes and cupcakes and needed to keep everything cool. Ice packs plumped in under 3 minutes in water and froze overnight. Packs partly defrosted in the coolers on the trip but kept everything cold. Great buy! Dont let them touch as they freeze or they will stick together. My only complaint is they don't dry up to put away. I left one sitting out for three days because it popped opened and it never dried up.

Fine after they’re soaked, frozen and thawed once, they swell up perfectly. Well worth the price. Use them in my swamp cooler and they fit exactly in the space they’re needed.

They kept cold for a great length of time. Next time I use them, I would probably not fill them up with water as much because it wasn’t really comfortable trying to fit them in when they were about the size of a pop can. Would probably try to get them flatter next time. But overall effective. Would get them again.

I liked that you can cut them whatever size you want. Gave them 3 stars because they do not stay frozen for long.
