Works well for my projects.
I bought this to sandwich between quilted layers when making oven mitts for gifts, to add a bit of extra heat resustance.I will probably also use it when making shopping bags, to help keep frozen items cold.The only thing that would be better would be to find some reflective fabric like some thin stuff that lined a ski jacket I had years ago... but not finding that, this has been a very good buy!
