Less noise
For my MFP 01 this is great. You can clearly hear less his coming from the tape versus a regular type one.

Amazing value!!!!
I picked up this Tascam Type II cassette to compare against some modern Type I tapes I had been using, and the difference was immediately noticeable. I am recording from a computer through an audio interface into a Sony TC WR635S deck, and this tape handled dynamic material beautifully. On Type I, quiet sections of songs would sometimes hover close to the noise floor, which made intros and softer passages feel thin or slightly unstable. With the Tascam Type II, those same sections sound clean, stable, and present. The headroom is noticeably better, and the overall playback feels very close to the original source. High frequencies remain clear without sounding harsh, and low end stays controlled without getting muddy. Vocals, especially in softer openings, sound natural and solid instead of grainy. After calibration, this tape delivered what feels like a one to one transfer of my recordings. If you are recording modern, dynamic material and want a reliable, high quality Type II option, this Tascam tape performs exactly as it should. Highly recommended.

Don't get Robbed by this crap. Really its "ZERO STARS" !!
WOW!!! Save your money, these Tapes not only sound terrible but also come with warped hubs that contribute to some severe Wow and Flutter. the RTM cassette runs rings around this sorry excuse for a tape formulation. tried this tape on 4 Decks that are fully mint and have only been owned by myself. All decks hated this crap. 1-Nakamichi CD 1.5 2-Proton 740 3- Pioneer CTF650 and Teac 400. At $13.99 for a 60min Cassette it is highway robbery. Even if they gave it to you for free you would end up throwing out!!!!!!! Save your money. Buy new old stock or the RTM tape.

Perfect for my Tascam 424 MkII
Itโs a good quality cassette, I am using it with a Tascam 424 MkII Portastudio and itโs handling it beautifully. I have recorded and re-recorded several times with no noticeable loos of fidelity.

I like them
There are some negative reviews about these cassettes, and while I respect those opinions, I have not had that kind of experience. I bought a couple of these and compared against some other, similar specโd cassettes, using a Tascam Porta07 and a Yamaha MT4x. To my ears, they sound very good, no problems with hiss or other extraneous noises. Good quality.

Bad performance (it's not really Type II tape?)
I prefer to buy new stuff if it's still produced - rather than 20 years old tapes. Purchased this tape to test it but sound quality results on Type II (CrO2) settings are as bad as bad-quality Type I tapes designed for basic speech recordings. I'd say it's rather Type I (Fe2O3) tape. So don't expect any good recordings results from it. Real Type II (CrO2) tapes have much better quality, so unfortunately I have to still buy NOS tapes from 90s.
