I have been making my own body creams using Blue Tansy but it is a very expensive essential oil. I only recently found out about German Blue Chamomile and it is as wonderful as Blue Tansy, but more affordable. I was so excited to try this Blue Balm and this product contains real Blue Chamomile essential oil. It has quickly become my favorite, go to balm for super dry skin. THE COLOR The blue color is totally natural and absolutely gorgeous. There are no fake color additives - the Blue is from the Blue Chamomile. This is definitely a unique and precious product!!! THE CONSISTENCY The consistency is similar to Vaseline when I first looked at it, but it does not feel greasy like Vaseline and it contains absolutely no petroleum. This is a great, natural alternative to Vaseline. The consistency is smooth and it seems oily at first, but once on the skin it is not greasy at all. It absorbs into my skin and leaves my skin breathable, light, refreshed, and moisturized. THE SCENT The scent is 100% from natural essential oils. You can really smell the Blue Chamomile, but also has a bit of an herbal scent. I would say the scent is earthy and floral with undertones of spice. It is a totally natural scent and not too overpowering. It has absolutely no artificial or synthetic perfume. If you have smell regular chamomile it smells similar to that, but better to my nose. It smells similar to Blue Tansy which I absolutely adore. HOW IT WORKS It is so moisturizing and gentle. I love using this on my arms and legs (you only need a tiny bit), but I also love using it around my eyes and even on my lips. INGREDIENTS Totally natural for sure. The base is Beeswax, Jojoba, Squalane, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, and Hemp Seed Oil (no CBD or THC). I am so glad it has super high-quality base ingredients. The herbal extracts and essential oils are Rosemary, Blue Chamomile, Neem, Seaweed, Ivy Gourd, Eggplant, Tulsi, Turmeric, and Moringa. That herbal mix is so unique and very healing for the skin. I wish the manufacturers would list the ingredients on their product page. I am including a photo of the ingredients to help others make a buying decision. CONTAINER The container is dark colored glass so the herbal are protected from light. It is very simple packaging, but the box is way oversized to make the jar size appear bigger than it is. That is a little pet peeve of mine, but I still adore this product! The box measures 3 inches square and the jar is 2 inches square. There is a cardboard holder to keep the jar in place within the 3 inches. They may have done that to protect the glass jar during shipping because what would be the point of making the box so big for on-the-shelf marketing when people are buying this online. SUMMARY I absolutely love this product. It is worth every penny and although it seems expensive at first, it is some of the best healing balm on the market (in my honest opinion). It is made in the USA which is really important. It is a well thought out product and I am really impressed with the ingredients along with adoring the scent. You will find nothing else like this product on the market and as a Vine Reviewer I can honestly say this is a 5-star product.

This ODACITÉ Le Blue Balm Chamomile + Shea Butter Repair Balm is a beautiful naturally blue and fragrant moisturizing balm that I use anywhere in need of extra hydration. So far, I’ve used this on my lips, décolleté, back of the hands, elbows and at night as a face mask. It has a lovely soft and silky feel and spreads easily on my skin. My skin absorbs this balm well and feels hydrated and smooth as it has some great emollients, such as squalane, jojoba oil, cannabis sativa oil and more. It leaves a hint of an oily or buttery feeling on my skin for awhile, but it’s pleasing and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy or like it just sits on top of my skin. It goes on rather thin but it’s rich and soothing and makes dry areas feel supple and comfortable for extended periods. This balm does seems to actually promote healing of my dry, irritated skin. As an example, my lips felt uncomfortably dry. I used a thin layer of this balm on my lips at night, and it felt good but thinner and lighter what I’m used to so I still followed with a little bit of a thicker product. I initially wondered if there was a point to using this balm on my lips, but after two nights my lips aren’t dry or uncomfortable and I don’t feel like I need to constantly put product on my lips. This balm has a moderately strong natural floral and herbal scent. It’s pleasing and doesn’t trigger a headache or irritate my sensitive skin. It has potential sensitizers such as clary oil but also has soothing ingredients like German Chamomile (which gives it the beautiful blue color). This is an uncommon balm that’s lovely and effective. I’ll definitely keep using it and highly recommend it. Love it. 5 stars. Made in California. Though, yes, this is a balm, it really feels and works a whole lot different than most other balms. When you first lightly touch the blue substance in the jar, it mostly has a traditional balmy feeling. But when you go to rub your finger around just a tiny bit harder in order to pull a bit more out, your finger sinks in and the balm softens up. Kind of like a sinking feeling that I found rather surprising after how my finger felt its first time around the jar. As you rub this along your skin, you'll see that it leaves a thin clear layer that is very lightweight, yet potent. You won't want to apply too much, but you also won't need to do so. The first time that I used this, I didn't think that I would like this too much because of the emollients left on the surface. Because of that, I didn't apply all that much. Then forgot about it for the day. Went back and tried it again and used a lot more. My skin was left with that damp looking shine you'll get from oily residuals, but then I noticed that it actually absorbed rather quickly. You will need to give it a few short minutes, but once it does, it's not messy. Ultimately, this is quite a good skin balm that can easily be used over the entire body. Conditions well and provides your skin with a lot of moisturization without those waxy residuals. Yes, it will look and feel sort of oily at first, but that will sink in soon enough and you'll skin will be in much better condition.

This is a review of the Odacite Le-Blue Balm Repair Balm. I have older, dry and very sensitive skin so I am always on the lookout for quality facial creams and lotions that work for me. I am happy to say this one is just great. I only put it on at night for reasons explained below. When I first opened this jar up I was apprehensive because the balm has a very bright blue color and a strong smell. I prefer non-scented products because my face is so sensitive but this one makes my skin feel great; it is so soothing and my face is so soft and moisturized, even by the next morning. That’s a huge plus. The color is striking but I actually like that and as stated and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. The texture is different and in some ways you apply this differently than usual nightly creams or serums. Whereas most facial products feel creamy, this one feels hard and I use a little spoon(ish) applicator or I use my nails to scrap off a small chunk to put on my fingertips. It’s at that point that you can either rub the product directly on your face or do as I do - rub your fingers together to warm the balm to liquify it to spread easily and then pat it and massage it into your skin. If you’ve ever gotten Le Mer products before, you know what I mean. I do want to note that this does feel quite greasy on my skin; so much so I don’t want my hair to touch my face after I put it on; that’s why I only use it at night. Normally that would bother me, but it’s worth it for my skin to feel and look so good and it just adds to incredible way it softens and moisturizers and soothes my skin. My skin felt and looked better after the very first time using it! Recommended.

I wanted to love this so badly. Unfortunately the scent is way too strong and made me break out so it just wasn’t for me I do appreciate. The customer service though. My refund was issued shortly after sending my return in.

What a lovely little tub of cream. I'm a real picky person when it comes to what I put on my face these days and this one is something I would go out and order again but I'm still rationing it out as it is a little on the pricey side. You get what you pay for though. This beautiful color is not artificial coloring. It's the real deal. I love how soft my skin feels after using it, and the smell is enchanting, very earthy and soothing. It puts me right off to sleep. It is a little on the heavy side, so yes- definitely meant for nighttime use. I have used it all winter and no dry skin issues on my face. Not the most amazing balm however it works really well to seal in moisturizer. It is greasy, even using the smallest amount I find myself blotting off the excess after 5/10 minutes. This won’t moisturize on its own - too thin for that. But it does a good job sealing in any current moisturizer and is light weight which is a plus. Good value too as it falls on the lower end of “luxury” balms so definitely competitive option for those foraying into the balm world.
