Good quality prints. But need to allow for a bit of trial and error. Some reviews recommend fixing the film to plain paper. In my case for Epson ET2870 I found it better fed in on its own. To find the coated side I found the breath on it option best - wrung side fogs up, print side doesn't. I set it for High quality and premium photo paper. and results were good. Printer says there is is mismatch of paper types but I went with the option of use this paper anyway. Product is good price and 50 sheets was far more than I needed so I'm OK with a bit of trial and error. I think transparency works best with dense colours. Subtle tones come out a bit wishy washy - (Probably applies to any transparency - not just this stuff)

Prints finely, dries fast and is waterproof. Tells you on pack which side to print but nothing on the sheet itself...breathe on it and the non-print side condenses the vapour.

This stuff is so good. I had a mishap with what settings to use, which made it come out dimly, but once I adjusted them back to their original settings once reading not all printers need specific settings, it came out PERFECT. The quality for book inserts of scenes on a basic Canon Pixma printer is outstanding and I defenitely recommend if your a book person looking to make some inserts. It took a few minutes to dry but once it did, it stayed where it was on the test page I did. I will be honest, though, when it comes to darker colours in a piece of artwork it doesn't come out as good as something that would have various colours and bright ones at that. But it did come out well enough.

When I looked at the reviews prior to purchasing there was only one that mirrored my findings, all the others suggested this was a good product. For context I make my own printed circuit boards for which I need a transparent film with black artwork on it to use in a photographic process. Previously I have used a laser printer to print on clear film to but my laser printer is developing a fault so I hoped to dual purpose the inkjet printer that I use for normal printing rather than buy a new laser printer, hence my reason for purchasing this product. Transparency sheets for ink jet printers typically have a modified slightly matt surface that holds and retains the ink. This product appears to be a simple gloss transparent sheet, as such it would probably work great for pen use on a OHP but printing on it with a liquid ink is an issue. My experience with an Epson inkjet printer (original Epson inks) was a complete failure with the following issues: 1) As the ink did not absorb in any way but just stayed on the surface it took ages to dry and there were some fine smears apparently caused by the paper guides as the wet ink had passed under them. 2) Artwork appeared thin when compared against a print on paper, i.e. lines were thinner than expected, circles smaller than expected, thgis I think has two causes - obviously if the transparent sheet is waterproof the ink does not spread by capilliary action but it also seems to shrink back as it dries leaving the outside edges of shapes less dense and not sharply defined. 3) When dry the ink could be easily wiped off leaving a perfectly clear sheet - so obviously no ink absorption. In my opinion this is a pretty useless product - so regarding the previous good reviews perhaps others were using different inks or the product has changed.

I'll keep this short, but to reiterate (and add to) what others have said: 1) If you print on the correct side, these work fine. Breath on it, if it fogs up, that's the wrong side. 2) Tape the transparency to a sheet of plain paper or card. A couple of small pieces on each side work perfectly well - taping on the bottom/leading edge caused issues for me, catching in the mechanisms as it fed through. 3) You may need to fill your paper feeder with a bunch of sheets. My Epson 2850 had trouble grabbing the transparency, sometimes not at all, or it seemed to give up partway through. I put 20 or so sheets of paper in the feeder behind it, so it was 'raised' closer to the rollers, and went straight through first time. 4) Don't forget, you (probably) don't have white ink in your printer. Some stuff works great, some looks pale and sort of ghostly. For my current project, I'm grabbing some cheap white acrylic markers and will colour in the reverse of the image... I'll update after I've tested this. 4 stars, because they work but it's all a bit of a faff around. Paper backing on each sheet would be great, even if it meant a small price increase.

parfait pour mes impressions de négatifs pour cyanotype! Ce papier transparent sèche très vite et fonctionne avec imprimante laser ou jet d'encre; juste bien faire attention au côté pour imprimer (on le distingue en mouillant légèrement le doigt sur la surface: elle doit devenir légèrement collante; ou sinon on teste: si ça l'encre ne sèche pas tout de suite alors on change de côté!)
