Classic Ticking Stripe Cotton Duck Navy, Fabric by The Yard

I was not finding what I wanted in any of my local stores, so I took a chance and ordered this online. I know that sometimes the colors do not always reflect what I see on my monitor, and I could not touch the fabric to feel the texture. I could not be any happier with the color and feel of this fabric! It is so soft and easy to cut. I've made two pillows, so far, and they exceed my expectations! this fabric is wide and the weave is tight. perfect for aprons. love the stripes, makes sewing straight line a breeze. Didn't wrinkle too badly after washing and drying and it holds its shape.

I love Ticking Stripe fabric and use it for a lot of projects. This was the first time I ordered fabric from Amazon and was a little leery about it. But the fabric was exactly as advertised, the same color as in the photos, and the same quality of Ticking Stripe I'm used to working with. It is not a heavy duck weight, but lighter cotton similar to a piece of quilting fabric. I'm using it on my front porch for the bench seat and hot glued into the window panes. The print is only on the one side, the back is a white muslin--which works great for my project as I can reverse the window for the winter holidays. Easy to sew, very soft, and seems to stand up well. I will buy this again!

Perfect quality and thickness. Made a table cloth for our guest room and it was the perfect weight, color and material.

I bought quite a bit of this fabric in both the grey and navy ticking for curtains. The fabric is a good value as it is 54" wide and was $8.98/yard when I bought it. The fabric irons up well and is good quality. It is not a traditional heavy weight ticking, but it's not a lightweight cotton either. The fabric width and price saved me quite a bit. Love the curtains.

It's hard to find a nice ticking that isn't either overpriced or cheap looking. This isn't as nice as the stuff with the design woven in that costs 2x as much, but it's still very nice. The quality of the cloth is good. I used it to make large curtain tiebacks with piping and they came out great. The weight of the fabric is good for curtains and for light-use upholstery, like slipcovers or pillows. I'll buy this again the next time I need ticking.

Great stuff for making bed mattresses for miniatures it’s quite fine lined but it may be too heavy. I’m not a seamstress in any sense of the description of that word, not even close.
